The combination of Cornell's meager one-goal victories, the drubbing by Virginia, and the indignity of a hockey-styke upset at the hands of Dartmouth Saturday has Cornell skidding from 6 to 12 in the weekly lax poll. Pwnn is the only Ivy not getting votes this week. Can't recall if Dartmouth got any votes before this week. http://www.usila.org/polls.html

With Princeton's 9-7 over Brown at Gillette last weekend, the Tigers are running out of Ivy teams who might give them one Ivy loss going into the Cornell game May 1. Princeton hosts Dartmouth and plays at Harvard the two weeks before the Cornell game.

Princeton needed OT to beat a very mediocre Penn team, and only beat Yale by one.  If Dartmouth could handle us the way they did, they can do the same to Princeton.  Harvard is dangerous too.  The main thing the Dartmouth loss did was make it essential that we sweep the rest of the league to get the Ivy Tournament at home.

Yale 4, Dartmouth 0 in the 2nd.  What a crazy league.
