I thought that perhaps the usher got mad because she is a pretty heavyset woman and nearly lost her balance on one of the top steps.

Said usher placed herself in the middle of A for most of the first period waiting for someone to say some thing offensive. If we made fun of an SLUt player politely, she called us "smartasses." What a great time!

As I said in the postgame thread:  I take responsibility for starting Jailhouse Rock for the penalty.  I didn't see Gallagher down, and as soon as I noticed, we started trying to stop everyone.  As you are well aware, once wheels are turning, sometimes that can be difficult, and I apologize for starting it.  I honestly feel really bad :(

Thank you for posting this. It shows how we can defuse things before they get out of hand. A simple I'm sorry goes a long way. Off my soapbox now and off to bed.

This is what I figured the deal was.  I can imagine someone trying to stop Dragnet with someone on the ice, with similar results.
