Forgive the blatant plug, but it is with the Men's Hockey Team.

Hockey Team
Proceeds to benefit Loaves and Fishes, www.loaves.org, and
The Greek Peak Adaptive Ski Program. www.skigpsd.org

This Saturday, April 19th - 1:00PM to ~6PM at Lynah Rink

Do you want to play street hockey against a member of the Cornell Men's
Ice Hockey Team?
Would you like a member of the Cornell Men's Ice Hockey Team to play for
your street hockey team?

Sign up now for the 2008 Cornell Street Hockey Shootout at Lynah Rink and
have the opportunity to make a save off of a Division 1 player's wrist
shot or get a goal off of an assist from a future NHL player.

Play is on feet, no inline skates, with street hockey balls on the concrete.

Sign up in teams of 5. Tournament will be limited to 16 teams.

Each team will be given one Cornell varsity player to add to their roster.
 Players wanting to sign up individually will be assigned to a team if
space allows.

-Game play will be 4-on-4 plus a goalie with one substitute player.

-Double Elimination Tournament, guarantees a minimum of two games.

-Games will last 20 minutes with a running clock.

-Games will start at 1:00PM.  Check in is a half hour before your first
game. The bracket with game times will be sent out Friday night at
11:59PM.

-Prizes will be awarded to the winning team.

-Bring fans to cheer you on or to participate in raffles for other game
day prizes.

-Prizes include signed Cornell hockey team items, Greek Peak lift tickets
certificates for local establishments and more.

-Entry fee is $30 per team, payable at check in.

If registering as a team include the names and e-mail addresses of all
players on your team and give your team name.
REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 16 TEAMS, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE
As of 3:00pm Friday there are slots for four teams left.

Helmet with full cage, gloves, and a stick are required to play, but
equipment will be available to borrow if needed. Shin guards optional, but
suggested.
Goalies can use full equipment or may substitute forward style shoulder
pads in place of a chest protector.
