Red up 6-3 at the half.  Still having trouble getting the offense into high gear on another blustery day.

Some of the sloppiest passing I've ever seen from a Cornell team.  This should be 12-2 by now.

[Edit:  Ever since I wrote the above they've been making passes a la 2007.  Should have written it earlier in the game.]

I just turned on the game now in the 4th quarter, but it is looking pretty sloppy here. Canisius does not look very good.

Edit: They are trying a lot of shots from very close in front, but missing the net or getting it deflected.

Cornell's cleared the bench, so don't judge anything by what you're seeing at this point in the game.

I figured as much but I can't have the audio on because I'm working. The bench players at least had some offensive creativity against what I assume was Canisius's bench.

The box score shows that Myers got the start and made 7 saves.  Martinez went in for the final 11:30 and didn't make any saves, but didn't allow any goals.

D was tight in the second half, Glynn and Kirwan won seven of ten faceoffs, Cornell picked up seventeen of twenty-two ground balls, and Canisius failed to clear six of thirteen times...resulting in few offensive chances for Canisius (total of six shots in the second half).

Glynn is clear MVP so far, followed by Finn.  Seibald yet to break out -- but just wait for the warm weather!
