Today's IJ includes a letter from their departing sports editor, Chris Feaver.   In it, he says, about the 03 team:
I vividly remember the intensity of Cornell's Frozen Four semifinal game against New Hampshire in 2003. Having covered numerous teams in several sports over the years, I had never staffed a more confident group than that year's Big Red.

At the start of the year, the players were unified in emphatically stating they were going to win the ECAC and then go to the Frozen Four. And then they did it, destroying most opposition along the way.

But Cornell lost 3-2 to New Hampshire. In the locker room following the game, most of the Big Red players were in a state of shock.

Bittersweet memories, indeed!!
