its pretty clear that most of these arenas dont have the proper site lines for filming a game.  last nights was crazy low..  I dont get why they dont spend just a little money and put a decent remote camera in thats higher so you can see the ice better.  RIT when they built theirs has 2 and used a ton to supplement the live side cameras especially on replays.

I would think it would help the team as well since you could do what RIT does and have them at the blue line and you then get much better film for team spacing to review after the game..  put one in the rafters above the press box or on the other side high and it would create a better picture for the game,

we are not talking big money either

you could really crazy and mount one high on a zip that followed the play that would be pretty cool but thats a pipe dream

still lets do it right instead of on the cheap.

we scored 4+ 6 of 7 games in Nov.

we just ended a 9 game streak of not scoring 4 and yet had an 7 game stretch of not allowing 3 at the same time to stay in this thing,

lets come out next week and start the scoring stretch again.

that Cornell has issues on the 2nd night.

and its coming off games we dominated the night before
strange also because we probably are the deeper team.

now 1-2, 2-2, 3-3


Harvard in 2 weeks we would hope get a good effort and dartmouth is a revenge game the night before

the back to back vs colgate is the one that may be an issue

pretty crazy to be 3 months into the season and Cornell has played 4 home games and yet its only 9 home 7 road the rest of the way.

i can only find one team that has played even 7 home games, some have played 13

interesting they have block off all home sales until this pick 5 deal is done.

I would think we would have had 500+ up for sale i wonder how many will get sold as part of this deal since its basically trying to sell you the Harvard game for $100

I might have gone about it differently maybe sell the Harvard tickets which probably would sell out if promoted, then offered a discount of somekind to push the clarkson + some other games just to try and get more in the seats across all the games.

there have been pretty empty seating for games so far this year.  too bad the students dont seem to care anymore

was running at over 30% not its down under 10% the last few games..

just needs to be 20ish to be effective.

But I thought it moved the puck pretty well.  got some solid chances that we heeled shots on.

Not sure if being consistent or streaky is better in the long run, but 2 goals a weekend would go a long way.

Interesting that Sacred Heart booked their arena for next weekend so the home playoff games vs RIT are being moved to mid week.  I was told this did not sit well with many at RIT as it makes it almost impossible for any fans and the band to attend the event.  Not sure why the league allowed it.  Seems like the could have done a thurs/sat/sun thing if nothing else.

so zero REGULATION wins vs any of the top 20 PWR

and they other fluff adds up to #8 in PWR

just wondering, i know it would never happen, but would it be legal to call up a girl on the womens team?

will be a nice test..  It will be interesting to see how we deal with the injuries.

Some interesting discussion on their home page about teams in and out and Locks.  One thing they mentioned is concern about Cornell not winning games by enough.

St cloud 3.9 vs 2.50 so net 1.4
Cornell 3.0 vs 1.4 so net 1.6

St cloud 17 wins  by 2 or more, 6 losses by 2 or more, 17 of 20 wins
cornell 12 wins by 2 or more, 1 loss by 2 or more, 12 of 22 wins in 3 less games.  so given 30 games 1 maybe 2 more 2 goal wins

over a season they would have 3-4 more games of 2 goal wins but also far more blow out losses..


no doubt more goals scored, more explosive offense in that league, more chances to get goals and bigger wins.

I guess going uglier is the way to go in web site design these days.

The lynah renovation includes a new sound system.. I think the 8 track player is getting replace with an upgraded CD player..
