I can't believe they sent out a notice to puff up a ceremony honoring a hockey great and it was just a few random still photos and a short Aurthur voice over?  he played 50 yrs ago. How many in the crowd actually saw him play?  Maybe show his stats on the board since sound is hard to understand anyway. A nice video clip. Or showing a shot of his famous pose standing with his stick  that made it easy to see?  Did they not have any good color pictures
from the dark ages?

I know the PP is awful. But that just compounds when you add in the amount of time we have pulled goalie and not scored as well.

watched 3 other games last night that pulled the goalie and all of them scored at least once

one interesting take on the PWR

NH is 11th and last in hockey east and 16 in PWR

But also there is a chance that NH/UMASS/WISC/Northeastern all ahead of us in pWR finish under .500 if things continue like they are and cant get an at large bid.

NH has 6 games left with BC/BU/Maine
Mass has 5
NE has 5

WISC has 4 with OSU/Minn if they slip up anywhere they are also on the edge.

IF Cornell wins game one and loses the finals you would have to go back over 20 yrs to find the one team that didn't make it with a PWR as high as Cornells would be. And that is the year Cornell was #1 in PWR?  Thats as far back  as the CHN site goes. Was that year 1 of it?

A few of those years the PWR could have gotten us a 2-3 seed.

did the effect of the ties cause this? We had 6 of them, anyone of which puts us over the top.

with NY state passing a law that says the NCAA can not punish NY  schools for NIL transgressions, wouldnt the next step be that NY state passes a law that says the IVY can punish NY state schools for things the IVY league puts in place?  So like Cornell giving out scholies could not be enforeced by the IVY league?

SO now that the ivies exemption to collude and not have athletic scholies is expiring, you wonder who is the first to do it, I mean you could in theory have an ivy offer one to a kid in jan for hockey

When did this become a thing for tickets?  I was just wondering if they were limiting sales and i clicked tickets and got some queue with 800 people ahead of me and a 30 min wait?

As the numbers on campus are rising for staff it would be interesting if they broke down the testing numbers a bit better. Of the 5K of tests a day how many are staff vs students because the staff numbers are pretty bad the last 5 days. Faculty has been lagging a bit as well. From what I can see the numbers are only for people getting testing on the campus locations as well. How many people are getting tested at other locations and are not being included in this?

I dont think I have seen a puck go off a pipe with the net already off and then have it changed from no goal to a goal.  it kinda makes everything that happens after that in doubt. maybe the net being on the rebound goes some other place than off the goalie..  normally a shot goes off an then the net comes off and they sometimes allow it to count.

Cornell med school had a test pretty early on and was doing its own testing..  I wonder if these Colleges try to figure out a way to ramp up some of this testing so that the colleges can function.   Even if they could do a 1000 a week or some number they could spread the load out and also help bring school back quicker.

A school like Cornell has the means to ramp up some equipment if they can find the chemicals to conduct the tests. if a few hundred places could do 1-200 a day thats 20000 tests

All this assumes they can get the test kits as needed around the country.

I see some schools already cutting programs with budget issues around the country.

We start the year dominating the 2nd period.. then we go on a stretch of good first night/ avg 2nd night

now the last 4 games we have outshot teams 50-10 and out scored them 12-2 in the first and then the last 2 shots are even and been outscored 6-3 but we have 3 Empty goals to save the day

we have beaten the #1 in the B10 and the ECAC and BU is now 1 pt out of first in the Hockey East

but its crazy to see Prov #14 in the pairwise yet 6th in the hockey east while conn is now 2 pts out of first and under .500 as a team for the yr.
NEastern  is 8th in hockey east and 12th..
