Check out the interview with Coach Jaques on the ESPN Ithaca podcast page.  After getting past the Knicks he makes some comments on the recruits.

I know that CJ Kirst was granted a 9th semester in order to be eligible for 2025 but might received due to COVID.  Under Cornell regs an athlete can receive additional eligibilty (Imagine that they still get only 4 playing seasons?) if they start work on an additional Bachelor's program but they get no financial aid. How did Rob Panell do it?

For the same reason that the NFL Draft does not hold my interest I will wait until these gentlemen actually take the Court to see how they turn out.  If they turn out OK let us also hope they value the education and not be tempted by the portal.  Am a bit concerned that Jacques is not recruiting at the same level that his predecessor did-time will tell.

From listening to the Dixie & Fly Inside Lacrosse podcast some of the older UVA lacrosse alums did not like Tiffany. 

Just joking here but are we dealing with a Curse here as in the curse of Henry Ciciarone the late Hopkins coach? As in: "We are never losing to Cornell again." back in 1978.  All kidding aside was surprised to see CB's comments postgame in the IL article.

That is what I thought too but in the Cornellbigred.com account they said it was his last game.  As I recall both Horseman and Cascadden were not honored on Senior Day and assumed they will be back next season.

Agreed. Hopkins deserved to win. Tully kept us in the game. They got open looks and Cornell did not.  In some ways similar to last Sunday's game in not getting possesions in 2nd half. Maybe some one who is a better analyst than me can explain what Hopkins did to deny Cornell on offense.

Faulty memory on the 1987 game I will confess.  It was great team though with Goldstein, Jones, Angotti, Cummings, etc.

Also was at game back 1987 and will never forget Tim Goldstein's shot bouncing off the post in OT.  Game of inches indeed!

3rd Quarter was brutal.  Princeton had possession of the ball for a majority of 3rd Quarter on faceoffs and groundballs and that grinds down the defense.  Princeton deserves  #1 seed IMO.

I agree.  Cornell's defense is playing at a high level and that is without Lohnes at close defense.  A comment on Quint Kessinich who was mentioned on Fanlax. I think he does a great of analysis on his calls and I detect no animus from him per Cornell. However don't get me startedon Anish and Carc-the SU frat bros (LOL!!)

Any one have a report on the Spring game played this past Friday?

One item not noted in the Sun article that Baldwin is going to be playing for Brian Earle, former Cornell coach. 

I see that athletics has established an Advisory Group.  Perhaps to help Athletics in this Wild West era of sports-eh?  Also Cornell football is raising money for summer stipends (To be used to support football student-athletes while doing internships) to keep 40 players in the general Ithaca area for the summer.

Start the thread. Looks like Dartmouth has some potent offense but have collapsed in 2nd half last 2 games.
