I know I'm going back a long way and my memory can be faulty but I'm pretty sure mcniff and oliaro both got an extra year by taking spring semester off. 

You could be right about those players.  Today with the transfer portal, players are more likely to leave after their junior year, than stick around for a 5th year.

Cornell add three big OL commitments to their recruiting class from this past weekend's official visits.

Cornell just hosted an official visit weekend, so hopefully there may be a few more commitments added in the next week or two.

Not that surprising. Richmond is a wealthy private university with a top 30 [29th] endowment and pays a 4% endowment excise tax.  (For comparison Princeton has a beautiful dedicated lacrosse field, is 4th and pays an 8% endowment excise tax.  Cornell is 14th, also pays 8% and sadly we do not have a dedicated lacrosse facility.) 

Cornell at least has a 92,000 sq ft field house, something neither of those schools currently have.

Cornell will not have a televised game this season, the same with Princeton.

Not for many years.  If you blocked all Russian IP addresses, I could live with that.

True, but would spammers bother with VPNs?

I was a mod for the Ivy League Sports Board on Voy.  Once you start blocking these overseas IP addresses, they typically give up spamming the site and move on to easier targets.
