You guys do realize that you can go to lax4baltimore.org and download a pdf which you can fill out and fax over to the ticket office? Worked for me...

The BU/Dartmouth consolation game in Hanover just happens to be on channel CN8 in the DC area. I have no idea why. I think it's SLU and NoDak in the championship but I'm not sure. The game is just starting now.

She fell on a triple flip in practice and [re] injured her groin. Either way, Emily should be preparing herself as an alternate.

OR you can just go to the Caps website and watch it for free, with no signing up for anything. You can even fast forward through the first 14 rounds.

It obviously didn't start with GWB. There are plenty of people that pronounce nuclear like that. It seems like just a lazy pronuciation stemming from dialect.  People brush it off as just being his accent, but the reason why it bothers me is because it's completely random. If you reverse the n and the u, you have unclear. Have you ever heard anyone pronounce that "uncular."  It's just the word "nuclear" that the accent seems to affect, and it seems like a lazy thing more than anything.

There will be an email about it. And I'm sure it will posted here. The last two gatherings were at Grand Slam Sports Bar in the Grand Hyatt on H St. Just wait until we even know if, and when, it will be televised.

My coworker just emailed me two minutes ago with this question? "Didn't Congress ban hockey this year?" And he wasn't joking.

As a grammar police veteran, I don't get it. What's wrong with it? This week is a possessive. It is possessing the column. So why is that wrong? I don't think it's supposed to be read as this week is column up.

The only school, AFAIK, that puts heavy weight on the interview is the Hotel School. They require it, and it can make or break you. I know my interview for the Arts School was pretty lame and never went back to the admissions committee anyway.

Yeah, then it was definitely twice. I seem to remember my freshman year, '98, when we lost the play in game, I believe to Princeton, but I could be wrong. That was also the year I missed Dragon Day. Or it could have been sophomore year. Oh well, whatever.
