One of the amazing saves that Scrivens made was number 3 on Sportscenter's Top 10 on the late night/early morning edition from 11/10-11!

Does anyone know if the Women's Championship Game will be broadcast on any normal station?  It says CBS College Sports but I have no idea how to get that.
If I remember correctly, the 2003 Harvard game was highlighted by an octopus and a large walleye. You have to give the octopus respect.

I have always felt that a rather entertaining animal to end up on the ice would be a live lobster or crab...
I don't know if it was me you saw, but I did take pride in my octopus over the years (hence the screen name).  I threw a small one in 2004.  Then I threw a large one in 2005, which was my largest success (McKee poked it for awhile, it got stuck to the ice when they tried to remove it, and the whole crowd cheered when they finally got it off and raised it high to the crowd).  And in 2006, my senior year, I threw 2 large ones at the end of the game.  I've since graduated but hope to return with more octopus at future Harvard games.

Hockey / Screw BU chant confusion
November 23, 2007, 03:49:45 PM
Does anyone have any idea of how we should adapt the "Screw BU" chant at the game tomorrow night?  "Screw BU and BU too" certainly shows twice the aggression against the Terriers but doesn't make sense.  Any suggestions?

that's not necessarily true.  if the line they pick is way at the end, i'm sure they will just wrap around back to the first numbers.

I really need a ride from Ithaca to Albany leaving around 3 or later on Friday.  I don't mind missing the first game or the festivities.  Please someone help me out if you can.

Hockey / St. Patrick's Day in Albany

i was talking to my two friends who are going with me to the games in Albany and about where to enjoy some green beer after the Friday games.  does anyone have any suggestions?  and also, we thought it would be even better if tons of Faithful all met up together at the same bar.  let me know if anyone likes that idea.

marte and Rich S, I don't know how many indians games you've been to, but you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.  yes he does play before and after every pitch, mostly to get the crowd going but he has never once played his drum during play.  he will stop before every wind-up, with never a mistake.

I know you were there.  I was sitting next to you.  I figured this was my one and only chance to look all professional and intelligent on elynah, so I went for it.

Hockey / Skills competition results
December 09, 2005, 08:25:52 PM
Tonight was the annual Skate with the Big Red, with the team Skills competition.  The results were:
Fastest skater - Krantz (beating out Bitz in the finals)
Hardest shot - Krantz 89 mph (beating out Seminoff 87 mph)
Most accurate shooting 8 pucks at 4 targets - McCutcheon (beating out Sawada with 2 hit targets with 4 pucks in the 2nd tiebreaker, both hit 4 targets in 7 shots in the main event and 0 of 4 in the 1st tiebreaker)
Best shooting 3 pucks against a goalie - Scott (beating out Sawada with 2 goals in the tiebreaker, both times against DiLeo)

I could have some of the second place, or goalie, names wrong, but the rest is fairly accurate.  There was also a 2 minute rapid fire competition of 2 teams against Chabot and DiLeo.  Although Davenport (the MC of the night) wasn't clear on the mike, I think DiLeo lost.  If anyone else was there, please correct some of my mistakes.
