We're in 14, but 9 IS a good spot. Particularly if you want to haggle the Sucks band. But you typically have to sit.

I'm in for the East, not the Green.

Loud guy; you, me, John Harvard's, and as many pitchers as we can stand.

I'm there at both. Bringing one at Union, and 3 to RPI.

I'll take your word about the last row. But there always seems to be plenty of 'milling about' in front of the end section and in the pathways between it and the Troylets.

Just be sure to not get in the way of the flag runner; they don't seem to like that.

DO IT MAN, DO IT!

I also will be obtaining cheese, porn, fireworks, ... and lonely singles for all.

I still have the Lynah Middle East sheet from last year. If the seating is arranged so that the Stters are closer to the ice than the Standers, the first standing row could hold the sheet. Well, hold it or somehow attach it to their clothing. That should get around the main problem the users had with it last year, right Mike? I remember the main problem was the fact it was going to be free-standing and near the signs companies paid for.

[Q]But unless you can get the ushers on your side, you're usually stuck capitulating to these people. [/Q]

Rare, but has happened. Watching the Jerks realize that even the neutral ushers think they are jerks and they can't go crying to them is priceless.

There are two parking areas, not quite downtown, but close enough for a car. One is next to the NYSMuseum on Madison Ave. It holds about 100 cars and you should be good all weekend. The second is off of the I787 Empire State Plaza exit. It is a freestanding parking garage, called "V2" that also should be open all weekend. Unlike the places closer to the Pepsi.

Jillians also has a little-known and randomly-enforced policy on baggy clothes. On two seperate occasions I have not been allowed in because, I s#it you not, my jeans were too large. At the exact same times, there were at least 50 Cornell fans inside in jerseys that don't fit too well without pads.

If we don't like Jillians, the Big House is another block down on the left. It was recently redone so that it is now known as the Skyline, but it is another large place with 4 (I think) floors of dining/drinking. Other than these two places, I dont think there are any bars in Albany that can deal with 200+ fans. FYI there is also a new hotel half a block away from the Skyline, only a short stumble away.

Gonna be there with the Rural Wisconsin Singles Club. Both games.

FYI: At the I-90 East/ 787 North exchange, there is a billboard to the right advertising for the ECAC games. On which one of our guys figure prominently, couldn't look at his arm number though, doing 70.
