Does anybody know if the Cornell Club in NY ever got the Cornell-Missouri basketball game on?  I heard that it showing the local CBS feed, which was the Pitt-E. Tenn St. game, so I went elsewhere with some alums.

The p2p NHL network feed got pulled for the Islanders/Devils game.  Not good.

I was wavering whether to sign up for Cornell All-Access, but tonight's equipment failure at the football game finalized my decision to not purchase it this year.  Still not sure why CSTV and Cornell Athletics can't get this to work when the webcasts of other schools have been up and running for years.

Here's a link to the PR statement about tonight's broadcast snafu,

CC looks stunned as the 5th Colgate goal is being reviewed and now confirmed.  About 6mins left.

According to a post on USCHO:

FSN-North will cover the Minneapolis Regional live for Saturday's games, but tape delay for Sunday's final.[/b]

No source given, so waiting for the NCAA to confirm the RSN pick up.

I was also shocked by IBM's move to sell its PC line.  As a lifetime desktop user buying my 1st laptop this summer I spent way too much time doing product research and ended up with a Thinkpad T42.  The 1 problem I had was resolved by IBM support in less than 24 hours after spending a total of 3 mins on the phone.  I have a friend who had her 5 month old Dell laptop "expire" this week, leaving behind frustration and a 6lb doorstop.

Here's SNL's tribute to the all-powerful cowbell http://mknx.com/v/cowbell.wmv.

Underhill takes the loss in OT on a weak shot per Chicago play-by-play.

Edit:  Looks like I'm 2nd with this info

Hockey / Mike Eurizone on Lynah
October 31, 2003, 04:27:29 PM
Article in today's Grand Forks Herald on the toughest places to play according to Mike Eurizone's CSTV.com weekly college hockey article.

[Q]As far as toughest crowds, Eruzione ranks only one from the WCHA, that being the National Hockey Center (St. Cloud State).

He rates Lynah Rink (Cornell) as the toughest rink for an opponent to play in, with Yost Arena (Michigan) and Munn Arena (Michigan State) rounding out the top three. Following St. Cloud State's rink at No. 4 is the Whittemore Center (New Hampshire).

Of Cornell's rink, Eruzione wrote: "These fans have always been nuts; they are crazy about their team. Of all the places I ever played, Cornell fans create the most decisive home-ice advantage in the country."[/q]
