Hockey / Re: Cornell 3 BU 3 (Final)

I was sitting behind the goal.  I thought I heard a whistle too (maybe the other ref?), with the ref waving his arms.  I think that what Cornell was arguing afterward.  However, if he blew, you would think they would reconcile that.

Hockey / CU Hockey Withdrawl- HELP
October 10, 2004, 11:58:59 AM
I need some help.

I'm living in Rochester now.  I graduated 3 years ago, but have been able to get tickets from my girlfriend at Cornell.  Now she is graduated.  How will I see Cornell Hockey?

Does anyone have suggestions for Cornell Hockey Withdrawl Syndrome?  What is the availability of tickets for random games throughout the season?

Thanks for any help you may be able to give to get me out of depression.

Well if there aren't ties, then I just predict close games.
But, I did think they were 3 point serieses.
Maybe it's called a tie after 2 OTs?

Hockey / Weekend Playoff Predictions
March 06, 2003, 12:37:11 PM
Ok Here's my shot at it:
Brown beats a very poor Princeton in 2

Union beats RPI in 3 (Union playing very well, but RPI will be close to home and has done well against Union this year.)

Vermont takes Clarkson in 3 (an upset due to Vermont's good power play and they have played Clarkson well this year)

Colgate beats SLU in 3 (including at least one tied game.  this one will be close, but Colgate is playine well right now.)

RESULT:  Cornell takes on Vermont next weekend

Let's see how I do....

I think it's sucks that we end up playing Providence whose playing well in their home rink.
But, we will see what happens anyway.
Either way, to be the best we must be able to beat every team in the country.
These guys can do it.

I think someone mentioned this before, but what is the process for Cornell selling tickets?
I almost positive they will sell some tickets to students.  Anyone know how many?
but, let's win the ECAC first...

OH, so close.... but maybe better to have less pressure on them??
I guess the poles don't really matter anyway.  A #1 would have been nice, but I agree that it is an uncessary pressure on them.
Speaking of rankings, did anyone hear Doug on the TV interview on Saturday night?  He referred to the "Power Rankings".  But, I would not stand up to him myself.  Let him take care of playing hockey and I'll take care of looking at stats......
