These are the least enthusiastic announcers I've ever heard.   ::snore::

Cornell does not use a name-brand Zamboni, right?  (unless they have purchased a new one in the two years since I graduated)

Bit of a step up from my convocation speaker: Danny Glover.

Well, it's not like the ECAC doesn't have practice playing a season without Vermont.  ;-)

I'm pretty sure we went around 5 or so last year and got a table with no trouble at all.

First off, everything is a little bit of a walk to Lynah East.  And was "it was all Cornell beforehand" supposed to be one of the reasons not to go?  There is a poetic justice to filling John Harvard's with Cornell fans that is certainly worth the wait (which I have never found to be a problem).  And don't worry about a reservation ( ::laugh:: ); it's a bar with plenty of places to stand and sing Davy while you wait.

John Harvard's was the place to be in Cambridge last year (both before and after the game).

Wow...who would've thought that, of the four teams in the Everblades Tournament, we'd be the bottom feeders?  ::nut::

No matter how good the team is, we always seem to the bottom feeders in Florida.  I believe we are are a combined 1-5 in our three appearances down there.  ::rolleyes::

What, like the failed Little Joe's?

I actually don't think Little Joe's failed.  The owner apparently moved to Florida, selling both restaurants.  Say what you will about the quality, it did do a good business.

As for the C-Town Pizza/Mama T's debate, I seem to remember the new place copying Mama T's menu right down to the garlic knots.  The quality seemed more or less the same, but mind you I only went there a couple times in the few months it was open before I graduated (I think I was too bitter about the closing of Wendy's to take the place seriously).

I don't really think this is at all like Underhill-Lenveu two years ago.  First of all, Underhill was one of the better goalies in the league (if not the country), and had solid experience over three years.  Marr, on the other hand, has played in all of four games to this point -- hardly the kind of experience that should earn him any preferential "senior" treatment.  It should be a wide open competition for playing time this year, and I could easily see Schafer going with the freshman.

Last year Harvard hockey tickets went on sale around the third week of October.

Looks like RPI alum Brad Tapper was not so fortunate.
