Sorry, forgot to add that.  They listed 30 forwards, 20 d and 5 goalies.

Hockey / Hynes and Moulson

I get a scouting newsletter called Prospect Advisor and they have a list of NCAA forwards, defenseman, and goalies.  Of the forwards, Shane Hynes is #10 and Moulson is top 15.  No defenseman or goalies listed.  Looks like there will be plenty of scouts checking out these guys.

Just curious if this is Cornell's Matt Underhill?  Pretty sure he was a senior this year.

Pee Dee Pride (ECHL)-- Signed goaltenders Ron Vogel and Matt Underhill.

Thank you for posting that!

One of the standouts on this first day of practices was the play of someone who is seen to e somewhat of a sleeper pick to make the team, goaltender David Leneveu. The Phoenix Coyotes draft pick, and Cornell University star, displays a great attitude when faced with his goal of making the club. When praised for his play, the amicable LeNeveu laughed and replied, "I am not taking things too seriously, just trying to shake off the cobwebs a bit and play as best I can."

Thanks for the reply.  You might be right in it was Jeff Pietrasiak I saw.  But the local paper did indicate he was here in late June.  The story was about how a few of the college guys (LeNeveu, Joe Callahan, Matt Jones) payed their way here. Sorry, don't have a link, it was in the print version.  The camp started on June 24th I believe.  Anyway, do you know what he is doing in Philly?

Hockey / David LeNeveu

Hello, Just found this message board.  Just wanted to post and say I have seen David at the Coyotes strength and conditioning camp this summer.  He seems like a very focused guy.  Wayne Gretzky has been participating in all the on-ice workout drills, so David will be able to say he stopped a Wayne Gretzky shot!  All of the players at the camp (about 25 prospects in all) are in really good shape.  David is in great shape heading into the Canadian National Junior team development camp in August.  He should be in the best shape of his life by the time you guys see him and extremely motivated.  I don't think Cornell has anything to worry about in terms of the Coyotes asking David to play major junior or going pro.  If he goes to Vancouver, that will be his decision.  Coyotes VP Cliff Fletcher said at the draft that they selected 6 players that be in college next year and they want them to develop there.  You are probably saying, what about BC's Krys Kolanos or Minnesota's Jeff Taffe?  Well, all I can say is those guys really wanted to come out.  They said they had nothing left to prove at the college level and the Coyotes agreed.  So, when you guys win the national championship next year, look out :-)

I'd appreciate any opinions about David.  Thanks

PS- How do you pronounce his last name?
