First off: first-time poster here. Hi everybody!
I'm enjoying the TV broadcast of the ECAC playoffs on NESN immensely--they seem much more professional than last year, but still are infused with a healthy amount of low-budget cheese. The dopey ECAC and Avaya commercials were so nauseatingly repetitive even the announcing duo for Cornell-RPI couldn't help but rip into them after a while. But the topper was what's-his-name Madden, whose between-period interviews were an absolute hoot. My choice for best quote from ANY sports-related interview this year occured after the first period of Cornell-RPI:
"I especially enjoy Shemp." --Dan Fridgen, head coach, RPI
Anyone else enjoying these productions (aside from the butt-kicking Cornell gave RPI, of course)?
