I had a pretty good angle and saw the goal bounce in and out.  I was surprised to see the ref had waived it off.
I think the team looked pretty good tonight and could have easily won.  Sometimes the puck just doesn't bounce the way you want it to.

Well I am glad that no one has tried to copy Clarkson's BONESAW.  That is just ridiculous

I have to agree with a lot of lynah80's comments.  I have watched Dartmouth for most of the season and they are a very inexperienced team.  The Wyman, Johnson, Grecu line is probably one of the strongest in the ECAC, but that's basically where the positives of this team ends.  The defense is young and constantly makes bonehead mistakes.  They are always leaving Devine to stand on his head in order to keep them in the game.  Similar to how Cornell's defense can often help a goalie, dartmouth's terrible defense hurts Devine.  I wouldn't underestimate them, but scoring right out of the blocks is the best way to keep them out of this game.  Overall Dartmouth is pretty bad on the road and hopefully Cornell can pull out the win.

Hockey / Re: Cornell 1 at Harvard 2 postgame

Not about Harvard postgame, but didn't feel like starting a new thread.

I saw the dartmouth v. colgate tonight. Dekanich kept 'gate in the game with 42 saves.  Devine looked so-so...nothing spectacular from him.  Both defenses were below average, but Dartmouth's offense was very fast and that led to more scoring chances for them.  The ref (i think it was Dell) swallowed his whistle after the first period, but it wasn't a very physical game anyway.  The dartmouth team is young and got flustered early on when they were behind. If Cornell can get on them early and keep it physical, I think this might be the year they take one at Thompson.

does the marching band not travel to dartmouth? I was disappointed when they weren't there.  Dartmouth's band is pathetic.

I thought it was Swallow that was kicked off the team for academic problems (cheating), but  Galiardi was just suspended.

If it's any consolation the Dartmouth Hockey team are pretty much all in the same fraternity and it's quite possible that they all partied a little too hard last night.  Hopefully they will be hungover and Colgate can take a win from them.

Painful....just painful to watch.  Two 5-3 PP's and nothing to show for them and the list goes on....
