So, video is pretty much all I've got these days. But, the wife and son and I are leaving Kansas in the morning and driving to Ithaca for both games this weekend. We'll be in Section C. Then after spending the week in Boston, we'll be coming back west via the games at RPI and Union. I know we're in the section behind the Cornell bench for the RPI game and some random section for the Union game. If the women's QF series goes to a game 3 at Lynah on the 25th, we'll stop for that game.
I plan to be at all games from LP onward as well.
Good to have you back, Tom.

Quote from: billhowardKansas to Ithaca is 1300, 1500 miles? That's loyalty to Cornell hockey. I thought 6 hours to Potsdam was heroic.
Quote from: Al DeFlorioQuote from: BeeeejSame problem here.Quote from: TrotskyOn the Cornell game ILDN feed the intermission clock is counting down now from 17:00, and the first game is listed on USCHO as final. I guess we're starting around 7:35, unless that countdown is only for the free skate in which case it'll be more like 7:50.
When I try to get the feed, the intermission clock starts at 17:50, counts down to 17:07, then freezes and buffers. Reloading gets me back to 17:50, counting down to 17:07... ad infinitum. Anybody else having this problem?
Quote from: Jim HylaQuote from: DrewHello Guys,
Will tonights game be video broadcast on the internet? Hope everyone has been well.
I think only on America One. See ECAC announcement.
The link to sign on is here.
As an aside, has anyone ever bought an America One game on their mobile device? I'm interested in knowing whether if I do that, I can then later watch it VOD on my computer. I know that I only have a few hours to watch it after the game is over.
Quote from: DafatoneSo uh, did we have any fan presence whatsoever? The "Hockey in Omaha" thread has me and one other poster, I think. I'm not expecting a huge Cornell crowd, but it'd be nice to be joining others, just a little, in some cheers.

I'm just excited 1) To beat Trotsky to the punch and 2) I actually found something I was looking for on his site. ;-)

11/15/96 vs. UVM. That same team also tied #1 Michigan at Yost in January. Since then, CU has only played #1 (however Greg defines it in this chart) once until this season: the 4-3 loss to UHN in the 2002 NCAA QF in Worcester. Also since then, Cornell has 2 wins vs. #2s: 12/06 vs. UNH in Florida and last season's NCAA win vs. Michigan.
Quote from: Jim HylaQuote from: dbilmesTickets are being sold online through ticket office website. They're only selling tickets for Games 1 and 2 so they don't have to deal with refunds after we sweep the series. If by some chance there is a Game 3, fans will have to buy them at Q at the end of Game 2 on Saturday night.
If there is a game 3, I hope they're smart enough to again have it at 5 PM. Getting home at 2 AM, to get up at 6, isn't fun.
Quote from: Josh '99Quote from: TowerroadAs much as we hear from the fans of schools in other conferences about how any given ECAC men's team with a strong record can't be any good because of playing a soft schedule, I would love love LOVE it if the Lady Gophers bowed out against a battle-tested Eastern team, even if it's Sucks or BC.Quote from: Tom Pasniewski 98I am rooting for ND and if necessary, I would even root for Harvard (although I will shower afterwards).Quote from: RitaLink to the NC$$ article and the Bracket.

#1 Minnesota v. #8 N.Dakota
#4 BC v. #5 Harvard
#2 Cornell v. #7 Mercyhurst
#3 BU v. #6 Clarkson
The good news is that Cornell doesn't have to face Minnesota until the finals. The bad news, beyond the bad news of their 38-0 record and ridiculous GF and GA numbers, is that after being taken to OT on Feb. 16th after winning all their other games by 2 or more goals this season, Minnesota has not allowed a single goal - 6 straight shutouts - 377 straight minutes and counting. The silver lining, if there is one, is that Minnesota has not had to face any of the top seven teams in the Pairwise this season. So, there's hope.
