Quote from: cth95Things are looking good when we have 4 alumni with articles on the ECAC website at the same time.  I don't think I have ever seen this with any team.

Even if the title of that one does manage to get the idiom wrong, as usual. (Sorry, pet peeve.)

You should just flaunt it.  For all intensive purposes there are less problems we can hone in on.  Lets move towards a new understanding in this crazy doggy dog world.:-P

He's just a "grinder.";-)  Keeps this up and he'll make it to "roll" player.
If they trade him to Philly will he become a puck hoagie?  ::dribble::

And his linemate in Providence is Wacey Rabbit?  Shouldn't that be Wacey Wabbit?  ::whistle::
I think you meant Wascally Wabbit.

I think Uncle Joes *is* the place i was thinking of..Thanks for this. Will also keep The Rose in mind if we need a place closer to the hotel...
The food at Uncle Joe's is a dissapointing. If you are looking for lots of big TV's and a sports theme, Benchwarmers on the Commons has a larger menu and at least marginally better fare.
Right, the food is marginal at both Uncle Joe's and Benchwarmers.  Benchwarmers can get pretty busy and loud and service can bog down and get pretty slow.
The Plantation has MUCH better food.  Service is fast (and waittresses and tenders are easy on the eyes) and there is room in the pool room for quite a few people.  Saturday early evening before a hockey game is usually very quiet there and getting a large group in and out would be no problem.

The Plantation on rte. 366 has great bar food and is just up the road from Lynah.  Strongly recommended.  And don't forget to do a couple of shots for good luck!

This is an inappropriate use of the jerk tag. As the next post in this thread is likely to be.
Nice try.

I don't know what you're so smug about, you have the cadence wrong.  And it's not 9 o'clock.

I would like to thank the cow bell guy (sorry I didn't catch your user name it was loud when you told me) and the rest of the Cornell fans for making me feel welcomed even though I am a Gopher fan. Getting the chance to experience Lynah from section B was fantastic.  I will be visiting quite a few other rinks/arneas out east this fall but it is going to be tough for them to top Saturday night.
Glad you enjoyed the Lynah experience!  Its always nice to hear other fans coming in to Ithaca and being able to appreciate Lynah for what it is...one of the best sports experiences and having fans make you feel welcome is also very nice to hear!  Thanks.

For the people at the game... it seem like Devin was taking a lot of shots from the point... were most of them getting through and to the net?

LGR!
Devin has a pretty heavy shot.  It will be really nice to see how good he is in four years.  The brothers Devin and Kennedy played hard.  Nash has some great potential.  If he hangs around we have a bright future.

Get to Lynah before 6 PM and stand outside the doors for the box office.  You can almost definitely find someone selling tickets there for face value.  You should also try the box office because sometimes there will be tickets available.  I have a friend who comes up for games often and has never not gotten in.  Good luck and enjoy one of the best sports experiences known to man!::burnout::
