I dont post very often, but i do read this board pretty often...I went to go get my playoff tickets today, and asked the guy at the office whether they have had a big response from the students or not. He said that VERY few students have bought playoff tickets.

Although this could be because of spring break, I believe that it is also because of low publicity. There are many people that I told today that I went to get tickets, and they had absolutely no idea that tickets were even on sale. If we are to have a full house at lynah on that weekend, people need to get the word out....

I am new at all this so I am not sure I understand why. If our season has been so successful so far, why would our chances of making the NCAAs completely disappear if we lose the ECAC tournament??

I was recently accepted to cornell, and I have just begun to follow NCAA hockey. I was under the impression that both the ECAC winner and the ECAC tournament winner both got spots in the NCAA tournament, but it seems from reading this thread that I am wrong. Can somebody please email or post an explanation of how a team qualifies for the NCAA tournament for me? Thank you very much!:-)
