Thanks, Ari!

Anybody have any argument with any of these?

All I have to say is that its scary that I can look at the names from while I was a Cornell fan - as late as the class of 04 - and have no idea who the hell those people are. Though I assume some of them didn't make it more than a year or two.

And some didn't make it for more than 45 seconds.  :-D

I remember Clegg had a huge showing in the Red-White game with a couple of very pretty goals and then never was heard from again.

Scott, to my mind, was definitely brought in as a center, but has been converted to wing.  Bitz was brought in as a winger and has been converted to center.

Heisenberg has Scott listed as LC:  http://members.aol.com/cheisenber/Recruit04.htm

and Bitz as RW:  http://members.aol.com/cheisenber/Recruit03.htm

and Paolini as LC:  http://members.aol.com/cheisenber/Recruit99.htm

Barlow's been mostly RW in the Scott-Kennedy-Barlow line, at least from the games I've seen (live and all-access).

I'm pretty sure Levi transferred to Weber State and distinguished himself on their team and in their conference tourney - the RMCHA, I think?

Hmm...I was thinking just the opposite.

Beeeej[/quote]Yes, but an all but certain penalty minutes to ice time record!  Immortality.

Both Barlow and Scott have tendencies to wander from their respective wings, but Barlow was the left wing and Scott was the right wing on that line.  Scott has never been a regular left winger since he has been at Cornell.  He played a decent amount of center but was on the right side of the Abbott-Pegoraro line by the end of last year and was on the right side of the Mouslon-Bitz line whenever he would move up there.  But as I said before, he is the kind of player who is all over the place when he is on the ice.

Barlow frequently carries the puck up through the neutral zone on the right side, but I won't argue whether or not he plays left wing. I never really paid attention to where he lines up on faceoffs etc.

Just looked back through the game threads to see where lines were listed, and although most threads didn't show the lines, the first three I found that did all show Scott-Kennedy-Barlow.  I agree about the wandering, although Topher does a lot of his wandering behind the net as he keeps battling for the puck forever.  And on the power play he certainly is the right wing. The rushes I recall Barlow making down the ice were typically from the right side.
By the way, Ari, great jobs on the columns this year and great job cheering at GB.  I can't believe your voice held up that long (and neither could the Badger fans).

Yep.

IIRC, he transferred again, to Stanford, the following year.  If I'm remembering the story correctly, Levi came down with mono the year he was at Cornell, went back home to Utah for that year at WSU, then continued his education out West.

From hockeydb -- looks like he also played a game for the San Antonio Iguana's of the CHL

These look good, except that I could swear Frank Kovac played some center and was maybe even the team's best faceoff guy for a year or two.

Just reviewed TIVO version of this weekend's games to make absolutely sure I was right.  Barlow definitely a RW on all face-offs and for the line play as well.
