Cornell PP
Early Cornell pp.
PP upcoming
Who was Bitz passing to there??
Pretty weak on the first pp.
PP over
..and typical
Well, against CC they need to be really careful of the shorty.
Tigers a little ragged here. Hopefully Cornell has the experience to press a bit now.
Can anyone find a gamecast for the game?
Nice LGR! chant.
Its sooo cool to listen the "Lets Go Red!" chant all the way in Australia :-D

Big save by David; CC pp.
High stick againhst CU
5 on 3
Oh crap Pegoraro called for contact to the head, 5x3 for CC upcoming
CC now 5x3.
Score CC
:-(
CC scores ::worry::
We knew specialty teams would be critical. You just can't give them a 5 on 3. Now we MUST kill the 5 on 4 and stabilize things
Shyte.
Kill Red Kill
1 x:xx CC pp Salcido (Sertich, McCulloch)
killed it. Now we need to settle down, get the puck in CC's zone and keep it there.
I'm so nervous, please comfort me.
We'll be fine !
A little nervous I suspect.
LGR
I'm so nervous, please comfort me.
In 6 billion years, the sun will explode and none of this will matter.
I'm so nervous, please comfort me.
Relax. The sun WILL rise tomorrow.
Trotsky: We couldnt have planned that better.
I'm getting missed messages between you and Trotsky :-P
Anyone hear what our fans were chanting during that break?
Well the sun will rise, but only for another 6 billion years. Simply a different persepctive!
We finally set it up and Bitz misses a nice centering pass from Scott!
Big save Mckee
Good rendition of "Hey Baby."
We seem to be holding our own (on radio, at least), but our ability to create offensively seems to be the same old story.
Big save Mckee
I think it hit the pipe?
OT: Lax beat Yale 16-6
SOG 3-0 CC
No shots in 14 minutes.
SOG 4-3 CC
Penalty on McCutcheon 2 minutes
NCAA Hockey Central has Cornell with 3 shots

Double shit !
LGR LGR LGR LGR
We gotta stay out of the box - that's pretty apparent.....
LGR
Nice defensive play from OB to help bust a breakaway.
whats going on with our PK? failed against Harvard and now against CC :-(
Many of our shots are from the perimeter and are being blocked by defensemen. We can't seem to get anything in the center.
CC has probably the best PP in the country. You had to know not to take penalties going into this we could not take penalties
1st period over
Aside from Cornell, when was the last time an ECAC team won an NCAA Tourney game? Was it St. Lawrence? I don't recall Harvard winning a game in the last 4 or 5 years.
Trailing 2-0 and with only 1 shot on goal... We better get some offense going, how?
Jason says shots are 10 - 1 CC
NCAA says 7 - 4
On one thing they agree, CC leads 2 - 0
We'll get 'em in the second.
Note to Red : Stay out of the box !
LGR
that doesn't really say much about the ecac :`(
One penalty (Mugford) was well behind the play on a CC rush and another (McCutcheon) behind their goal deep in the offensive zone. Dumb. That looked like a not-so-instant replay of last Saturday's first period.
damn, it doesnt look good at all, I would be much more encouraged if we were getting chances and just not finishing but we cant do anything. Seniors, its your last chance.
We still got 2 periods, plenty of time to get back into it. If we can get to the front of their net, I would imagine we will get several PPs.
Aside from Cornell, when was the last time an ECAC team won an NCAA Tourney game? Was it St. Lawrence? I don't recall Harvard winning a game in the last 4 or 5 years.
The last non-Cornell NCAA win by an ECAC team was 3/26/00, SLU 3 BU 2 (ot) http://www.tbrw.info/ncaaHistory/ecacNCAAGames.htm
Cornell has the last four ECAC NCAA wins.
Plenty of game left, you guys need a quick one for a confidence boost....no more penalties.
Cornell PP coming up
cornell pp.....lgr!!!!!
Nice set up. Big shot from OB and Topher in good position for a rebound that never came
We need this goal
PP over
let's go red
"Bitz pass to no one in particular." Jason getting a little snarky.
Cornell pp #3 coming up.
Cowbell cheer. Maybe that will get things jump started.
Some movement but no good chances. Either our O is dead or the CC D is having a great game.
Score here we got a game, dont I think our inept offense is going to catch up with us
pp........score now!
Cornell scores!!!!
PP goal Scott.
SCOTT!
Topher Scott from Moulson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LGR!!!
TOPHER SCOTT !!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah Baby !
LGR
Alright! Let's get going now.
2 16:44 Cor pp Scott 6 (Moulson 20, Seminoff 6)
Lots of great chances for Cornell now!
Finally we are picking up our play
Second period over...we're definitely looking better.
LGR!
I haven't been reading everything on this thread, but am I the only one experincing really crazy picture quality? The brightness was going crazy that period... and on the Cornell goal scoring rush, the sound went out and the screen almost washed out with brightness.
Feels like all-access ;-)
I'm cheered up now :-)
Yeah. Same thing happening to me.
Really annoying...at least the action keeps moving...no jitters...no pixelation.
Still the whole thing was a blur of white for not-insignificant portions of the period.
4-0 BC! Wow.
If they hold on, Catholic schools will be 3-0 so far.
BU will always have the Beanpot...
beginning of the 3rd

Big Red greetings from Hong Kong, where it is Sunday morning 9:18 a.m.

PS: John Gleed...just may be a bigger hero than he was ever thought of.

Empty Net for CC...:49 to go

Way to go.
Great adjustments and great execution after a shaky start.
LGR !
We Win
Bring on Wisconsin! :-)
2 seconds remain, faceoff in cc end
GAME OVER YEAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Awesome...do it againg tomorrow!
Now I can go and have breakfast :-)
Thank you Schafer!
That's game....YeeHaw.
OT: I actually bled for this one. Got so excited when we scored to take the lead that I startled the sleeping toddler on my lap, who shot up. The top of her head split the skin on the bottom of my chin. So, much joy was followed by much crying (on her part, she's got a lump like a grape on the top of her head).
It was worth it. No one and done here.
Great comeback for CU...hopefully we'll play the way we did the final 2 periods today in all 3 periods tomorrow.
"Kill the body and the head will die". Way to wear'em down Red, play DISCIPLINED, keep your poise, and capitalize on the opportunities.

So... you did bleed red...right? :-P
Looks like Schafer yelled the right stuff.
At least one more game for the the players from our last final four and Cornell 3 - Harvard 2.
Wow. I've been a fan for 30 years and this is one of the best playoff wins. A comeback, poise, tough crowd.
Bleeding for Cornell Hockey? Sounds like the hockey line.
But why rehash that now? Great game! :-)
BTW, ESPNU will be showing it on delay at 10:30 in some parts of the country.
Three interesting goals for Cornell.
How the heck did Molson's wrap around get by the CC goalie?!
Gleed had a backhander that beat the goalie up high!?
A powerplay goal on a rish without being set up!?
(Don't recall any goals like that for them this season, but my memory's probably off and could stand being refreshed the EFs out there.)
Seems like things clicked for a change.
Kindret had a goal very similar to Moulson's in rochester against Niagara
Ah, though nothing beats the feeling that comes from celebrating a goal like Gleed's GWG tonight, checking ELynah to read the celebratory real time goal posts almost comes close!
LGR!
