It looks like one or two of the CC players have the flu. I dont know how important these guys are to the team but maybe it will mess up lines and throw cc off. I know this isnt right and its mean but hopefully it spreads to other players.

At least you admit that it's mean. :-P
After reading the story, it doesn't sound like it will make a big difference in the game if just this one guy is out sick with the flu. His replacement will probably be a defenseman they will put on the fourth line, which won't get much ice time anyway. I'm sure they're keeping him quarantined away from the rest of the team!
To whomever thought to FedEx the CC team north-country pizza hut pizza: Brilliant!
Zaba, the CC goalie, is hurting both physically and mentally...from another article in gazette.com:
Coach Scott Owens said Zaba ices his right knee after every practice and every game to reduce soreness. Zaba missed three games after he bruised the knee Feb. 10 in a 6-3 win over St. Cloud State. "I don't know if he has had quite the year he had last year," Owens said. "But he has had to play about 82 percent of the games, and it's mentally draining..."
Lynah Faithful to our players ... LGR! Go, Dave McKee! LGR!
BTW gazette.com has an article on Dave McKee, too.
Coach Scott Owens said Zaba ices his right knee after every practice and every game to reduce soreness.
Scott Owens has an awful, awful jheri-curl, and his mustache isn't much better. (http://www.coloradocollege.edu/Athletics/varsity_sports/Hockey/coaches/Owens.asp) I just thought it bore mentioning.

[uscho]what a whiner![/uscho]
This is all assuming Cornell's finally recovered from the flu.
