For the 1st intermission of the Wisconsin-MN game (gopher feed) they had Scott Brown  from USCHO talking about the USCHO brackets. His opinion is that Minnesota is a lock for Grand Forks and that they are likely to get BSU. In discussing the other 2 teams in that regional he did not mention that N.Dakota is a lock for Grand Forks because they are the host. On the bright side, he did not mention Cornell as one of the teams that could end up in Grand Forks.

Given how well Minny is playing right now (not), perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to go west and meet them in the NCAA first round.    B-]

IIRC, Minny didn't fare so well in last year's final 5 (losses to CC and ND). But took the regional (granted in 2 OT games). I'm not so sure Minny would be my first choice for match-ups.

Well, since Dartmouth and Colgate were tied for the Cleary Cup, I guess they just proved who the best team in the ECAC is ;-)
