Any interest on the semis, or just the finals (or consolations so not to woof)?
Call me a bad fan, but I can't resist the 12+ feet of powder Tahoe has gotten in the last two weeks...so I'll be on the slopes. My CU roomie (and fellow bandie) will be with me though, so maybe we'll find a place up there to watch the games.

Good luck with that! If it isn't on the approved list of games in the casino bars you're not going to be watching it there, as I found out trying to get them to show the Quinnipiac game. I ended up listening to the radio feed on my laptop in my hotel room. If you're going to find a place, start looking now, or drive to Carson City... I think there's supposed to be a good sports bar there.
Hope you can find the game, and that the skiing's great.
LGR!
Anybody interested in seeing the games should feel free to come to my home in Pleasant Hill (near Walnut Creek and Concord) to watch the Cornell-Colgate semifinal on Friday and, if Cornell wins that game, the ECAC Championship Game on Saturday.
Kindly let me know ahead of time if you want to watch at my home, and I will give directions.
Should we have the incredible good fortune to win on Friday, Rana has again come though with the Ice Oasis (Note: the place in Redwood City with the great club room upstairs, not Logiotech in San Jose) on Saturday.
As for Friday, in additon to Craig's offer, I am trying to see if some folks are interested in trying to wrestle a TV free from basketball at the Old Pro in downtown Palo Alto (other Penninsula ideas are welcome).
Old Pro sounds better for me, in terms of proximity. We should be able to get at least one TV, especially since the local team isnt in the tourny.
Any update on the Old Pro on Friday?
FINALS UPDATE
=============
We will be watching the game at the Ice Oasis, which will be located at 3140 Bay Road in Redwood City. The upstairs club room has a restaruant and a big screen TV. The club is members only, but Rana Glasgal will be there before the game to let us in. If you end up running late, you can call her at 650 906 4960 and she'll come down to get you during a stoppage in play.
For directions or additional info, email Rana at rg87@cornell.edu
