Though completely subjective and silly, the guys at INCH rated the sweaters from different college hockey teams:

I'm just wondering how Cornell didn't even get a tiny mention, seeing as how people like to say that Cornell has very nice sweaters.
It also would have been nice to see a list of all the schools' rankings, and maybe choosing one sweater (either home or away) to consistently rate. Maybe I just don't want to see Minnesota get a good rating. But of course, I'm thinking way too much about this as I kill time before a meeting. :-P
Speaking of INCH, we get dissed on this week's Cocktail Napkin.

I wonder which of the GPL posters authored that one. "DemsDontGetIt" or "Mariucci94"?

That was my main gripe about the article too. Amusing, but kinda annoying when it looks like they just didn't bother to rate half the country.

To be fair, the following, also found in that Cocktail Napkin, would be pretty cool:
QuoteMiami, Boston U., Cornell and Wisconsin in the Frozen Four – Pack three red t-shirts for Milwaukee and you'll be able to talk your way in to any alumni party or post-game reception in the city.
They left off the fourth unbreakable rule: script lettering sucks (relegating Maine and their light blue trim to the bottom).
they picked the ugliest 2 jerseys in the league- clarkson away and princeton away.
the actually meant the clarkson third jersey's they wore this year. Clarkson's Green Jersey's are actually very cool... but the black ones suck
The fact that the author of that article likes Princeton's hideous black jerseys negates any credibility he might otherwise have.
For such a historic program, Clarkson needs to pick a damn jersey and stick with it. For as much as I hate the Yankees (sorry to bring baseball into this) the one thing I like about them is they don't screw around with their jerseys and add third and fourth jerseys and ten different combinations of hats and pants.

Yeah, it's hard to take the article consistently when it praises Clarkson's jersey choices for "tradition and continuity".
This thread isn't about what I thought it was going to be about. :`(

they also credit Michigan for having original helmets, which, as we all know, were started at Princeton.::rolleyes::
I vote for the Appleton ushers.

Given the direction the thread was taking, I took it as a given that my employer would not approve.
Or at least, in the "work-safe" sense. I doubt my eployer would approve of how frequently I post on this (usually) non-offensive web site.

That was a great picture ... of her face. Hardly on topic.
