Don't know if USCHO or the like will mention it, but tomorrow's the "Second Annual Whiteout" against Cornell. So, make sure you're wearing red to stand out.
I guess it's better than next year's plan for the Big Red Freakout to be against Cornell, but still...

...and the best part of RPI's "Whiteout": Thundersticks. Why couldn't these wannabe balloon animals die with that stupid freaking Anaheim rally monkey back in 2003?

Somehow, I don't think it would take much effort for those who are attending to make more noise than the RPI fans and their thundersticks :-}
What's the composition of the Cornell crowd usually like there? Enough dedicated Faithful to be able to drown out the Engineer fans?

When I went last year in January, there was nothing on the RPI end to drown out. They even put their band behind the glass.

The bribe...errrr...gift they gave to one of the recent annual 'games where the RPI fans show up and cheer really loudly because they're told to' was a thunderstick. As in one. Because 2 would be noisemakers. Oh, and you could buy extra individual thundersticks at the souvenier tables.
They've given out thunderstix at the Cornell games at WMU, Brown, and Yale in the past few years. I've seen several TV games where it looked like the fans were given thunderstix.
Thunderstix are lame.
Anyway...I'm glad RPI is expanding their fine tradition of being told when to cheer and what to wear.

Hmm...sounds a lot like much of what is seen on eLynah recently... ;-)

"Real fans don't need thundersticks"

Maybe RPI defines the term to mean "not helium-filled."
