If only I had a spare few hundred bucks...and the jersey just wasn't so damned ugly...

The auction's over anyway - ended Feb. 2, from what I can tell.

Seriously, though $250?!

Not bad, for a pro-worn. (not gonna say "game worn" since it wasn't)  In the game-worn collector circles, that's somewhat of a cheap price for the AHL level.  If Vesce makes it to the NHL, that's probably a bargain.  Think about it...NHL replicas go for $90 (unpersonalized) on NHL.com.  Authentics: $199.  Personalized Authentics:  $279.  And these aren't game-worn.  (Obviously, there are plenty of places to get them cheaper).  But a game-worn ...as long as you can verify that it is...which is difficult to do, given the volume of fraud out there, is a one-of-a-kind collectible.  A gamer from an NHL star usually fetches well over $1000 or even $2000.  It can be an expensive hobby.

Close Date:     02/15/2006 20:20 EST

And a countdown that has 6 days, 18 hours, 55 minutes, 9 seconds. No, 8. Wait, 6.

I better just hit "post message."
