http://slack.net/~whelan/tbrw/tbrw.cgi?2006/ecac.cgi
The second link doesn't appear to be working correctly. I suspect that somewhere you are accessing data from 2004-5 as opposed to what is entered. Then again, I could be wrong. ;-)
Thanks. Fixed. Try again.
Thanks. Fixed. Try again.
Yes, that works now. Thanks.
I ran the script. I tried a few things. Looks like the worst case is Cornell ends up in a 3-way tie for 3rd with Harvard and SLU. Harvard wins the first tiebreaker, but Cornell wins the 2nd and would be in 4th place. (Colgate and Dartmouth in 1st and 2nd)
Can anyone else confirm that we clinched a 1st round bye?
Yes, we have clinced a first round bye. If anybody noticed during senior night last night at the very end the announcer said we will see you back here for the playoffs so come back to lynah and cheer for the big red one last time. So, he must have known that it has been clinched.

We had already clinched a home playoff series - either the first or second round - because we certainly were in no danger of finishing ninth or lower.
In fact, all teams who will have home ice for the playoffs at some point are decided. Clarkson and RPI are tied for 7th with 20 points, and none of the 4 teams below them have 16. Therefore, they can't be caught. Guess what, I'm a HUGE Cornell/Colgate fan this coming weekend. Kick some RIP/Onion butt, get Clarkson a better seeding.
According to some more analysis on USCHO, http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?t=56108 we have clinched a 1st round bye. Before this past weekend had even started, we had clinched a home playoff series, but now we have the bye.
