Title: CSTV charges
Post by: DeltaOne81 on January 25, 2006, 11:53:20 PM
All Access - when subscribing early - was $39.95 right?

Did anyone else get that billed to their card as "MLB*BAM Networks"? Because I have a charge on 9/15 for $39.95 from MLB*BAM Networks. I keep track of my expenses - and that is the same day and the same amount that I paid All Access - and the same card that I recall paying it on (I had a special cash back bonus for that month). AND I do recall it being a weird name.

Well that's not really why I'm posting this. Im posting it because on 1/7/06 (the day of the RIT game), I got a $40 (not $39.95) charge from Collegesportslist.CSTV... ON A DIFFERENT CARD.

I'll call in the morning, but I'm wondering if any of you have seen this, gotten any errant charges for CSTV, can recall getting the All Access charge from MLB*BAM Networks, or can share anything that can help me figure out whats going on here.

Thanks,

Fred

Yep.  I remember reading in the press release when this service started that the billing would be handled by the same model and company that did MLB.TV (or maybe it doesn't and my memory sucks).  My monthly charges appear as MLB*BAM Networks.

I can't think of a good reason for your other mystery charge.  Did you happen to buy the Florida broadcasts with that other card?

Thanks Rich. Yeah, I'm glad someone can confirm the MLB*BAM thing. I appreciate that.

No, I did not buy the Florida games. Due to holiday plans I didn't even really get to listen to them. But had I, I would not bought the separate video anyway. Shouldn't've added up to $40 even if I had.

And I cant I explain why a CSTV charge would show up on a card that I didn't even HAVE when I signed up for All Access. I guess I could be forgetting some legit thing I did that day, but... well, they'll hear from me in the morning. I need to get to bed, I noticed this at ~11PM and its kept me up much later than I wanted. Any further thoughts are appreciated as well :). Night!

Fred, the tickets I ordered through Quinnipiac for the January 13th game were reflected in a credit card charge from CollegeStoreList.CSTV.  Check your statement again to see if that was the day you might have ordered Q tickets.

And, yes, my All Access subscription was billed by MLB BAM Networks.

It definitely says Collegesportlist.CSTV (not sports), but you're right, the QU website was through CSTV. Its Quinnipiac. Thanks a bunch Al.

Move along... nothing to see here...
