Shouldn't posts about wrestling go in the "Other Sports" section? ::nut:: :-}
Not so much in the cabinet any more, I'd assume.
Fortunately. :-D
Oh no, the new conservative government in Canada could curtail spending and that might threaten overall funding for the JSF project. Those poor military-industrial engineers might be without jobs ::uhoh::
Just kidding, I know that Harper has promised to increase defense spending, and quick google searching reveals what Canada isn't yet in on the project. :-P
Anybody get a reading on what Ken's voting record is? Is he centrist or strongly liberal?

Hahahahahaha. As one of those poor engineers who spent the last 3 years suckling at th...er, I mean working my butt off on JSF, I can assure you that Canada's funding or lack thereof is important in their minds only. JSF will easily spend $40B in development (it's already projected to be $30B and they haven't even flown yet) over about a 10 year period. At 2000 normal work-hours per year, that's $2M per hour. Every hour. For 10 years. Canada contributed $150M to the development - thanks for those two weeks, Canada, I remember them well. Those were my favorite two weeks on the project - we all watched hockey and said 'eh' a lot. You hosers!
