This is a question that goes out to any band members or people who would know...Live at Lynah was released in 1997, and since there has obviously been some song changes in the repetoire...so are there any plans to release a new pep band album anytime soon?

they released a new album three or so years ago, though it was actually recorded in 1897

Wow, that's some time lapse. I didn't even know that there was a band back then.
Or a Lynah.

Hey, the tin foil phonograph was already twenty-years old.

The last I knew there were copies available in the campus store.
I defer all further questions to Jason Endriss '08 (jre29), the current Pep Band Manager.
There was one recorded in 2002 (but not released until 2003 sometime due to major delays). It was called "Voices of the Faithful".

The recording quality of the original Live at Lynah CD actually does sound like an Edison cylinder phonograph.

There might be copies available in the Campus Store...but if you buy "Live at Lynah" or "Voices of the Faithful" directly from Jason, the pep band gets the money directly and you don't pay a mark-up. Win-Win.

Apparently Lynah (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Lynah) was 16 years old.

I don't know if waiting nearly 6 years for that punchline was worth it.
