The two of us will be there. Who else is making the trip?
Driving from New Orleans and staying in Ft Myers.
I am! Though I don't know if my tickets are near anyone else's, I'm hoping to just sneak into the Cornell section.

Germain (ne TECO) Arena has many more seats than people who will actually show up for the games, and the ushers are refreshingly laid back. In previous years we've had no trouble just congregating wherever we wanted for each game. (The last two times we just stood in the back row near the Cornell Club hospitality area.)
I also plan to find the Duluth fans and hang with them during the late game.
I'll be there for the Tuesday game. Looks like we're going to have a three-man brass ensemble from the pep band, too. At least we can make sure to play Davy and not whatever else they plan to pipe through as a substitute for the fight song this year.
They're letting you bring in instruments? ::twitch::
I hope so because I'm about to throw my trumpet under the plane in 3 hours.
me and my nephew....all in red....

Tried calling the ticket office a few times and always got voice mail. I guess we'll find out. I can't imagine them being too terribly concerned about it, but my predictions about who lets in what where have been slightly off already this semester. :-}
Flying down Monday morning, and I am SO excited to get away from the snowy Northeast! LET'S GO RED! :)
BTW, you should learn "In Heaven There Is No Beer" (the tUMD fight song) and play it at the late game. :-D
I'll be there with a friend on Wednesday... LGR!!!:-D
Down here in Sarasota. Based on USCHO posts, we'll be getting a few UMD fans this year. Maine also tends to have a few fans there.

tUMD fans are good people. I look forward to all of us hanging together, like we did with the UMass fans a few years ago.

So, it's presumably too late for this suggestion, but you might want to let the people doing the Cornell Club/hospitality room thing know you're coming. I'm sure they'd be happy to vouch for some Hooligans with Horns. ;-)
Oh, yeah, FYI, I'm in Fort Myers now.
Did the scarf come with you? Or is it still in Massachusetts like it was when it posted?

I have the SCB Schwiizermeischter 2003/04 scarf and the Alexander Godynyuk Eisbären Berlin scarf with me. The original SCB scarf is holding down the fort in New Orleans.

And won't be back for "a couple of weeks." :-/
There was a story on the front page of the sports section of the local newspaper (right next to an article about two guys who are teammates on the Everblades after getting into a fight ::rolleyes:: in an earlier game). Some gems from the article: "Northeastern does not want to put Cornell on the power play." Apparently because of Moulson's six PPG, never mind that our PP% is 18.8%. (Which the article also mentions.) And "[a]long with special teams, goaltending has been a recent cornerstone." I think this guy just took last year's press, when McKee and the PP were both putting up good numbers, and tried to make it fit now. Also, it seems Cornell is in "Ithica, N.Y." and our #2 scorer is "Scott Topher".
Arrived in Lauderdale 1am this morning. Planning to drive over for tonight's game.
Let's Go Red.

That's nothing. The play-by-play guy for the webcast last night mentioned freshman "Matt McCutcheon" (though, to be fair, he did later at least correct the class), said Cornell had "Doug McKee" in net, and that "Sasha Potulok" was away at the WJCs playing for Team USA. Yes, Team USA.
And the arena announcer said "Peraro" was being penalized....
There was also some confusion with Topher being introduced before the final. I think they introduced him as someone else.

Yeah, as "Matt Moolson" IIRC.
