Title: Albany 2003 DVD
Post by: Karlmoose on December 07, 2005, 04:25:34 PM
This very well may have been posted recently, so I apologize for any redundancy, but does anyone have a copy, or know of somone that has a copy, of the ECAC championship game vs. Harvard at Albany in March 2003? A few of us are trying to get ahold of it. Thanks.

Yes - I have a copy.  Its a VCD and doesnt play very well.  Does anyone know if a computer will copy a VCD like a regular CD? (like, is it mpg's) ??

yes, it is really a mpg, just the file is named with a non .mpg extension....and the cd has a certain structure so players recognize it as a VCD.

But will a VCD copy like an ordinary CD?

It should, but I wouldn't guarantee it. Give it a try. If there's some kind of a byte-by-byte or 'full disk' option on your burner software, try that.

Not that I can help. My copy doesn't play on my computer anymore, although it does on my gf's. But when we used hers to make copies, the copies wouldn't play on mine either.

You should have good results if you do a disk copy.  I have tried to drag the files and copy the whole disk manually with poor results - then switched to a full disk copy mode and it worked fine.
