Title: Rochester press
Post by: KP '06 on November 23, 2005, 04:47:36 PM
The Rochester D&C had a nice article today on page 1 of the sports section, titled "Chasing the puck and an education at Cornell." It mainly focuses on Rochester native Mark McCutcheon and his choice of Cornell over scholarship schools.

Nice little article, though they refer to McKee as being a senior.

Ned harkness's lacrosse record at Cornell was 35-1 (97.2%).  His RPI teams musta dragged his average down to 87%...;-)

And the Saturday recap:

Funniest quote of the article:
[Q]Blue Cross Arena general manager Jeff Calkins said he is in discussions with Niagara to return for a future game.[/Q]
You'd think they would be in discussions with Cornell, seeing as how a solid 3/4 of the fans in attendance were wearing red.

Yeah, but then Schafer would demand a reciprocating game at Lynah the following year. :-P
