Title: NHL-NCAA
Post by: dadeo on November 19, 2005, 08:00:06 PM
well holy poop
I was watchign the Devils play.  And Barry Tallackson scored his first NHL goal.
I got that sick to my stomach and excited feeling all at once (since I live in NJ after all).
What do I do? lmao

Unless any of you are Detroit or Tampa Fans, you can't say anything about the dominance of the Devils in the last 10 years. With their leading goal scorer, Gionta, having played at BC and oh yeah he's 6th in the league in goals and is the 3rd best goal scorer on the team, with Elias and Mogilny fighting injuries and suckiness respectively. He has stepped it up for the Devs and with the return of Brodeur, the best goalie in the world. How can you not like this team?

Excited?  Fuck that fucking fucker fucking fuck piece of fucking fuck fucker fuck fucking fuck.

And that's just the residual negative emotion from last March.  Just wait until you all see how much I start to despise that fucking fuck fuck fuck fucker once he starts being a regular for the fucking New Jersey "We make the NHL fucking boring" fucking Devils.

Go ahead.  Try to parse that sentence without the fucking F-bomb.  I fucking dare you.  :-D

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate.

As much as I fucking hate fucking Minnesota and Barry fucking Tallackson, I fucking hate you almost as much for wearing your fucking Rangers jersey to the fucking smooth dinner this homecoming.

It's not boring hockey if it brings the Stanley Cup to my beautiful state.

I don't like them because their fans are awful and Brodeur doesn't know when to stop talking. Also, Ken Daneyko is really ugly.

Easy.  I'm a life-long Rangers fan.

Also, Daneyko retired two years ago.

while we’re on the topic ...  i’ll gladly stay out of NJ as long as you stay out of my state.:-)
Deal?

and which state is yours....NY?

Sorry but it was "mine" long before it was "yours"...born and raised there.  :-D

But now I have to rake thousands of beautiful Garden State leaves.

I'm hoping that Correy Potter never makes the Rangers, I'd hate to have to root for that guy.

He won't, and neither will Jessiman. Darin Olver of Northern Michigan (played for Chilliwack) has a chance, and you can always root for Sucks' Dylan Reese!

Looking at his stat line this year, Maine's Billy Ryan could be at the garden sometime down the road.  Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be an asshole, if we play Maine in florida.

Please don't say things like that.  Next thing I know Jagr is going to trip over Moore's Harvard practice jersey in the locker room and fall into both Weeke and Lundquist, ending both of their careers.  And then the Devils will finish one game higher than the Rangers.  And my Rangers fan-dom will continue its tortured existence.

Please don't, I'm home on break, have tickets for Sat night, and am looking forward to it.

But John Madden does........and I live in NJ.  Pretty good reasons.  They're my second favorite team.
