We all know what happened the last two games.

Not at all, he was an excellent thread-runner. However, there appears to be something about him in particular starting a thread which leads to suboptimal results.

Well, I did wait until near the end of the first half to try the football game today. Encouraged by that, I then tried the link to this afternoon's basketball game, with the expected results. ::worry::
*grumble* stupid all access *grumble*

Well, tied with all of the others anyway.
Has all access actually ever failed to deliver at 7:00? I know we never get much pregame, which is a drag, and I know the quality has been rotten, which is to be expected now that we've gone from a free, unprofessional product to a cost, professional product. Ahem. But it does kick in on time at least. Right?

Not always...was it the Brown game that they started late? And then stopped the feed all together?
I'm too lazy to search back.
Audio is now up.

Yeah, it was Brown.
Of course, we got to experience their delightful announcers instead.

off to a play...
Good opening, most of the play in front of Lange.
Beautiful play by McCutcheon manuevaring in on Lange, but it's saved. Still playing well; crowd sounds better.
Scott, Seminoff, Abbott, Carefoot all flying.
Heavy pressure by Cornell leads to the first penalty of the game. Cor pp.
1st unit with hardly any penetration.
0x1 despite nice chance at the end by Pokulok.
McKee's first great save of the weekend despite traffic in front. 9:22 to go, 0-0.
Thank you for the updates, Trotsky. Keep them coming, you do have an audience :)
Early differences from last night:
Cornell has a much better forecheck.
RPI much less aggressive in challenging Cornell rushes.
All of which adds up to a solid advantage in play and control. Just gotta score.
Barlow and Seminoff continue to shoot early and often. Cornell gaining confidence. This looks like last year's team so far.
Words to strike fear in your heart: "O'Byrne in front of his own net..."
Mugford for charging. Enter the kill.
Carefoot and Cam driving RPI nuts.
Another very nice save by McKee despite traffic in the crease. Upcoming penalty on McCutcheon. 5x3 RPI for 27 secs.
[Q]Trotsky Wrote:

That's the side of him that we like to keep it. ;-)
McKee again, and then Tyler and Krantz with great clears. One man back.
Good kill. McCutcheon gets kneed and turns a catrwheel, and the Red are on pp #2.
We survive a terrifying giveaway right in front of McKee. #1 unit still on.
Moulson-Scott-Sawada with great movement in front, Sawada shot is resuced from behind the back by Lange, and then RPI is whistled in the crease. 5x3 Cornell for a few seconds.
Pokulok a heavy shot, Lange save.
End of first?
End of First
CU 1 RPI 0
Moulson PP Goal

When I saw the PIMs I expected to see at least one major....
Sorry. Quick parental duty run.
Game on, period 2.
The 2nd is Pegs, Pok, and Barlow so far. RPI playing a little better in transition and the neutral zone, but the Red are still controlling play.
Biutz centers Abbott on the "Anne play," and Abbott goes airborne a la Orr and draws the penalty. Upcoming Cornell pp #3. Video freezes.
is it me or did all-access just turn into no-access? ::screwy::
Who had 8pm on the nose?
My video is gone completely. Audio link works.
As I posted in a seperate thread - our old friend barry Tallackson just scored his first NHL goal.
oh - that feeling. that feeling of a plane ride from minnesota.
Audio fine, video toast.
O'Byrne just wide from Scott. Cornell sounds good on the pp.

See? He would have scored on regulation ice, too. ;-)

My enduring video impressions, in case it doesn't come back.
Fabulous:
Scott (but of course), Pegoraro, Pokulok, Barlow, Seminoff, Moulson, Cam Abbott, McKee
Dicey:
Gleed, Krantz, Sawada (man, what's going on with him?)
Wherabouts Unknown:
Davenport
Everybody else has been steady.
Cornell 22-7 on faceoffs, including Kennedy 7x7.
Cornell pp #5 upcoming.
More than halfway through the game, RPI with just 6 SOG.
That's the D we're used to. If only we could SEE it! Argh!
Second time O'Byrne has trailed on an RPI forward and gotten back to break it up. That's good for getting back, bad for letting him get behind him...
I don't want to be depressing, but the audio is now starting to get squirrelly.
[Q]Trotsky Wrote:

My audio is out now. Restarting the browser doesn't seem to help...
same here. now my audio isn't working either.
damn.
McKee with a nice save and then Carefoot and Cam just misconnect coming back.
Under 4 in the 2nd.
Go to the RPI feed. It'sd usually great. My audio just had a microdeath. Won't be long now. Thankseversomuch CSTV...
Way, way off topic, but Troy Nickerson won his first college match with a fall at the 47 second mark, his second with a fall at 6:39, and his third by a score of 13-2.
Under 3:00 in the 2nd; SOG 25-7.
O'Byrne pulls down a man in front to stop an RPI chance -- I don't really like him, but a good move.
RPI pp #3 upcoming.
BTW, Cornell audio appears to be rested, tanned and ready.
Under 1 min. McKee tested a few times on this pp and coming up strong.
hey CSTV All-access! Cornell hockey fans called ... ::flipa::
edit: and we didn't say you were #1
gate won 5-0 against union
did their goalie have a breakdown? (dammit)
End of 2nd, Cornell killing another penalty as we begin the third.
Another very good period (unusual for the 2nd period for us this year). RPI is starting to play more evenly with Cornell. The Red need another infusion of energy going into the third -- I expect Mike will be subtle on this point. ;-)

I called their tech support about the video being down. They weren't aware of a problem and said I was the first person to complain. Said they'd look into it.
Did anyone notice the Dartmouth Yale score?

To make up for the temporary loss of video, they've made it louder now that it's back.
I still don't have VIDEO
defensive give away leads to RPI goal
RPI ties it up on a Pokulok giveaway.
*sigh*
Are they even in the double digits in shots yet?
Unbelievable. Another giveaway ties it. Can Nickerson skate?

excellent...i get video feed back finally just in time to see their goal....:`(
That was shot #9.
enough with the "section o sucks" bs
Lotsa hard, hard work by Topher.
RPI ices for about the 65th time.
Cornell working hard, but the game is evening out. 11:29 in reg.
Now O'Byrjne and Barlow miss with passes for 2 icings, and McKee watches as a quick RPI centering pass goes just wide. Scary.
RPI just got their 10th SOG, at 9:37 of the 3rd.
170+ minutes without an even-strength goal?
Great shift by the 1st line... we were back to the first period dominance there for a bit. Still 1-1.
7:02.
[Q]Trotsky Wrote:

or equivalently, McKee got his save percentage up to .900. :-P
the 4th line is logging major ice time this period
Oh crap, they call Seminoff for an elbow. RPI pp #5.
yet another freshman in the box
RPI PP up coming
RPI rings the post solidly, then McKee stops the rebound shot. Whew.
CU gets an faceoff in the RPI with about 2 mins to go in reg.
1:26 left face off in the RPI end
In case anyone missed it (or I missed the post to that extent)... OT
Good action to finish up the period. Scott almost fed Bitzie the winner -- it was behind him. McCutcheon and Carefoot both continue to play brilliantly.
If only Bitz was 3 ft further back... argh
Scott's been playing with Bitz and Moulson.
LGR
abbott-abbott-sawada back together as well
edit: timeout different line on the ice
Cornell takes the timeout with 0:55 left in Overtime. We've had some shances but nothing going in yet.
Direct quote from the RPI radio: "Coach Schafer will probably complain about this, as he complains about everything."
Ew.
Tied 1 point weekend....wow
2 nights, 2 hot goalies. It happens, but that doesn't make it any more fun. :`(
I'm still listening to RPI radio... they're saying they think McKee will prob get goaltender of the week? Interesting.

Yeah, I just figured out their Save % - 97.1 for the 2 games. Where'd these guys come up with games like this?
They were actually talking about Lange
