I didn't see this posted anywhere on the board, but both of Cornell's lacrosse teams advanced to the second round of the NCAAs. On Thursday, Cornell beat Syracuse 16-8 at Schoellkopf to advance to the QF to play Maryland. The Cornell (#4) - Maryland (#12) game is today at 1pm in Ithaca.

Cornell leading Maryland 13-4. Jamiee Reynolds, Ivy Player of the year, has 7 goals and 2 assists so far. Damn!
This rocks. With CU WLax winning today, they're into the NCAA Final Four, and if Mens Lax can pull one off against Virginia, we'd have both Lax teams in the FF....Hmmm...a bit o' interesting history. CU becoming a Lax powerhouse again?
Any result to be found on the Duke/Georgetown game?
Georgetown beat Duke 11-4. They square off with the Big Red on Friday at 5:30 PM, at Loyola College's Curley Field.
isn't loyola in baltimore? i can't imagine a better homecoming for miss reynolds... congrats.
#1 Georgetown beat Cornell 12-10 in OT today in an NCAA women's lacrosse semifinal. Women play a two-period OT and Georgetown scored once in each to break the 10-10 regulation tie.
Tough way to end a terrific season.
Hell of a season. Only two losses - to #1 Georgetown and #2 Princeton. (Princeton beat #3 UNC 16-2(!!!) to advance to the final against G'town.)
Many congratulations to the Cornell women laxers.
