Watching Cornell Hockey play UNH, it was frustrating at times knowing the guys were tired... the bye is a HUGE advantage in college hockey. How much more/less so is it in Lacrosse?
Well, in the lacrosse tourney the games are played on consecutive weekends rather than consecutive days, so presumably the fatigue factor is not a big one, just the extra chance to get knocked out for the lower seeds. So actually, it's like the ECAC playoffs will be starting next year and like the NCAA hockey playoffs were circa 1990.
