I'll try to toss updates for any of the 3 games I get on TV, but I'm gonna be a little distracted by the World Series, so no promises :)

Minn 3, Minn St 2 (late 1st)
Wisc 1, SCSU 0 (late 1st)
UND 3, UNH 2 (end 2 - apparently was 3-0)

UM takes the lead 2-1 early in the second period...

then MSU comes right back and ties it up 2-2

Cogliano scores...UM up 3-2

It would be very good for MSU to win, wouldn't it?

Yes...MSU is outshooting UM.  The UM announcers said that MSU got completely screwed on the penalty call that lead to Cogliano's ppg which made it 3-2.

SLU lost to Western Ontario 4-1, despite outshooting them 61-22, according to a posting on USCHO.  Many top players (Trevelyan, Zeiler, Bagnall, etc.) were held out of the game, and a couple of forwards played defense.  Probably means as much as the Harvard loss to McGill:  nothing.

That goalie seriously made 60 saves?!!?

UND and UNH tie at 3 (yup, that's a final)

4-3 Minn still on top of Minn St, end of 2
2-1 Wisc on top of SCSU, end of 2nd

UVM 5 - UMD 1 final.

Either Duluth sucks or UVM is a good team (or a little of both).

Per the recap on USCHO, W.O.'s goalie has played professionally in the AHL with Springfield.

1:38 two man advantage for MSU plus a 5 min. major (hitting from behind) still 3-3.  Big chance for MSU to net the go ahead goal.

They blew it, and then took a penalty. :-(

Yeah...either MSU's pp sucks or UM's pk is very good.  MSU is 0-6 on the pp and only generated 6 shots on net durring the pp.  Also, according to the UM announcers MSU is losing a ton of draws.  Other than that, they seem to be playing well and are getting big contributions from their freshman.

Honestly, I feel comfortable that MSU is not playing well.  Makes me feel better for our chances next weekend.

Though I would like to see Michigan lose.

MSU-MU headed to OT.

A MSU win would be huge if Cornell can sweep them, which is going to be very difficult  ::worry::

MSU outshoots UM 38-23 at Yost, but UM converts two of four PPs, and MSU goes 0-for-5.  Better be sharp next weekend.

It was a tie. Got this from a michigan hockey website.

Michigan and Michigan State kicked off their CCHA schedules tonight by renewing their rivalry at Yost Ice Arena, and they left things unresolved with a 3-3 tie.

The Wolverines entered the game ranked No. 1 in the nation and were trying to avoid the jinx the designation has carried with it.

A sold out crowd at Yost Ice Arena was treated to another action-packed back-and-forth contest. The Spartan caught the Wolverines flat out of the gates and jumped out to an early lead before U-M finally got things going late in the opening period. The Wolverines took the lead a couple of times in the 2nd period, but the Spartans wouldn't go away and tied the game with a late period goal.

I think you read deltaone's posting incorrectly.  He was reporting the Minnesota-Minnesota State 4-3 score, not Michigan-Michigan State.
