Title: Lynah East Events/Tickets
Post by: Tom Pasniewski 98 on October 18, 2005, 08:18:33 AM
Faithful friends,

As I slave away at work becoming virtually non-existent on this board, I would like to take a second and remind you of some things surrounding Cornell-Harvard hockey.

Those of you still looking for tickets:

If you are in the Boston area, I will be raffling off three pairs of tickets at Zinck's Nite Boston this Thursday night to the game.  Raffle tickets will be $5 a chance (each winning raffle ticket gets two tickets to the game) and all proceeds will benefit the Boston Young Alumni Program Fund which creates networking opportunities for Cornell young alumni in the Boston area.  Zinck's Nite is at Tequila Rain opposite Fenway Park starting at 6 p.m.

If you can't attend but would like to enter the raffle, please send me an e-mail with the number of chances you would like to have tossed into the raffle.  I will then send you an e-mail with where to send a check for your entry.  You may win multiple times.  If your name is drawn and your check has not been received, you will not be notified until your check is received.

For Cornell Club of Boston ticket and pre-game reception information including all hoops, roadblocks, obstacles and dead ends that you will face (just a hint of sarcasm):

Pre-game reception to be held at Dillon Lounge next to the rink.

For Cornell Club of New Hampshire ticket and pre-game reception (we're still talking the Harvard game here folks but the link also includes info on the following night in Hanover):

Pre-game reception to be held at John Harvard's.

Those are your options.  See you on the eight-day New England hockey extravaganza that is Yale, Brown, Harvard and Dartmouth.

Cheers,
Tom

$5 a chance to win $30 of tickets?  That's quite a ratio.  At least it's for a good, charitable - oh.  :-P
