With the other two goaltenders injured, will Lenny be starting tonight against the undefeated Predators?
No mention of who is playing on their website. The Wednesday roundup on ESPN.com notes Passmore was assigned back to the AHL, so I am guessing that means Cujo is starting again.
The Coyotes website says Lenny is starting.
I wonder if they made a point of delivering that news "above the fold" on their homepage because they've had such an interest in Lenny via their polls? :-D

The notice is just in the typical news location. There are a few different items rotating through as headlines. I didn't realize that when I made my last post. With Passmore being reassigned and Lenny starting, I wonder who is playing backup. Could Lenny be moving his way up in the rotation?
Did anyone notice they left an editing comment in the story? "While most first-year netminders are nervous when they begin playing at the NHL level, for LeNeveu, it is simply the result of the hard work and preparation he demonstrated since the start of training camp. Paragraph doesn’t make sense…please rewrite" It seems the editor is correct and the paragraph didn't get fixed." Oops..

Since when did the Sun run the Coyote's website? ;)
Go to 104.5 the zone from Nashville and click on Listen Live. It isn't supposed to work for games, but I am listening right now. Unfortunately, the Phoenix stations don't have live streams.

i wonder if this is on dtv anywhere. hoping that lenny starts against buffalo
pretty sweet intro page for the sabres.
http://www.sabres.com/
looks like they only play the sabres here once, and I will be in orlando then. oh well

It's on NHL Center Ice, yeah, 769 - http://directvsports.com/Schedules/Packages/NHLCenterIce/
but since it is, it means it's not on nationally on anything else (like OLN), so that means Center Ice or you're out of luck (unless you're in Phoenix or Nashville market I guess)
also on Fox Sports Arizona...
DirecTV channel 649
also saw it on one of the RSN channels on the channel guide.
copied from the other lenny thread...
audio feeds for all nhl games are available FREE over the internet!!!!
go to nhl.com
click on the "scores" link and then click on LISTEN. pick your feed (home or away).
edit: currently 2-2 all goals on the powerplay.
I'm glad nhl hockey is back. Listening to chuck kaiton call the hurricane games is like visiting with an old friend.... I grew up listening to him do the whaler games in CT.
3-3 after 2. As long as Kariya doesnt score on him. :-D
4-3 Nashville
5 on 3 power play
I think we have more people following this cast than a typical Lynah game.
3:19 to go, 4-3.

Well, to be fair, that's cuz most of us are at the Lynah games.
I am aware of that. ;-)
4-4.
4-4 on the Phoenix power play. Will Lenny have to handle a shootout?
Nice save down ther stretch for Lenny to save the day in o.t. Shoot out upcoming.
Over Time!!!
Lenny just came up big against a short-handed odd-man rush.
Shoot-out time. Go Lenny!!! I wish I could see. Maybe highlights on ESPN?

Unless you were in Arizona, that should be blacked out. But it's a little late for me to mention that now :)
Save on DiMache on 5 hole shot! 1x1!
Steve Sullivan backhander, save Lenny! 2x2!
Keep describing the shots. I only know if he saved them or not. Thanks.
Still no score after 2 shooters each.
Karyia scores on Lenny.
Paul Kariya scores on Lenny. Yotes need to score to tie it.
I guess if you are going to get beat, it is not too bad to say you got beat by Kariya.
Damn, loss. It doesn't sound like it was Lenny's fault. Pretty cool that he is up there and doing it.
Chrisd Mason stops the final shot, and Nashville wins the shootout 1-0. :`(
Lenny got some excellent praise from the Yotes announcer team. "Played a great game, kept his team in the game, had a lot of shots and traffic but played a tremendous game."
Too bad for the loss, but I didn't think it was his fault. Pretty cool that he is up there hanging with the big boys-- especially having to stand tall in a shoot-out.
Man... HDNet rocks (except for the announcers)
Well, at least it wasnt another 3-2 loss.
Went to the game tonight. Dave played really well. No chance on a few of the Nashville goals. The Phoenix D is just awful. Tough loss. Nasty shot from Kariya to win it. Enjoyed the game and the cheerleaders. Why doesn't CU have hot cheerleaders for hockey?
Oh yeah. ::yark::
gonna go check sports center for the highlights. I told my wife the same thing, the coyote defense is horrible. the one thing about having a horrible D is that you get tested more which in the end is better for developing as an NHL goaltender.
It may have been temporary, but this certainly has a nice ring to it:
"Phoenix G Curtis Joseph was the backup to LeNeveu..."
http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/recap?gameId=251013024
Good words from the Great One:
http://www.phoenixcoyotes.com/video/gretzky_1013
ESPN.com has Cujo listed as probable starter for tomorrow, returning from his "(groin)."
