Buccaneer goaltender Troy Davenport has earned this week's USHL Defensive Player of the Week award. Davenport, a USHL veteran, made 33 saves and recorded the season's first shutout while earning a 5-0 win over Chicago in the Des Moines home opener Saturday night. Davenport is the current league leader with a 1.52 goals-against-average and a .953 save percentage.
