Title: Doug Derraugh named interim women's hockey coach
Post by: Hillel Hoffmann on July 29, 2005, 03:43:24 PM
Doug Derraugh '91, who's already got a bust in the Lynah pantheon, was just named interim women's hockey coach while Melody Davidson coaches the 2006 Canadian Olympic team.

Thanks Hillel.  That's great to hear; Dougie is a great guy and was a tremendous player and off-ice leader during his Cornell days.  Playing on one of the most productive lines I've seen at Cornell during his senior year (the "HAD-a-goal" line of Hughes, Andison and Derraugh), it still amazes me that he wasn't first-team All-America.  It goes to show the quality and depth of the rest of the eastern players back then.
