I was just wondering who else was planning on attempting to get tickets to next year's Frozen Four in Buffalo?
I'm planning on it, although affordability is a big issue. Still, I figure with Buffalo in 2003 and Boston in 2004, I can at least potentially hit two FFs. :-)
I would love to go. how much will tickets be?
What would be the chances of getting tickets through Cornell be? Assuming we're that lucky?

I'm hoping this will be my first NCAA tourney since I missed out during my freshman year. Does anyone have tips on how to get tickets? The NCAA website makes it look like I have no chance since I've never been to a Frozen Four. Are tickets only available through the NCAA, or can I just go to the arena and try the box office? I've just got to get tickets--it's right in my backyard!
From an article on ESPN.com several weeks back: "Tickets to the Frozen Four semifinal and championship games are a tough find. With the University of Minnesota in the tournament, demand should be even greater. The final three games are traditionally sold out, leaving fans to hope that they can get tickets through the NCAA lottery system. Face value of the tickets for the three games is $124.50.
Those fans who regularly attend the Frozen Four are placed in a priority pool. This year, 6,092 tickets were awarded through the priority pool, and another 3,900 tickets were awarded from the general pool. But similar to how tickets are distributed for the Super Bowl and the NCAA's men's basketball tournament, only 55 percent of the seats at the Frozen Four will be allocated to paying fans. Each of the four participating schools receives 500 seats, another 50 seats each for their bands and, of course, the local organizing committee is taken care of, too. The remaining tickets, numbering in the thousands, are distributed by the NCAA to its corporate partners. "
This gives you an idea, although you can propably buy on e-bay in the 12-14 days prior to FF.

I almost certainly can't make it, but I'm interesting in getting tickets just in case and to improve my chances for Boston 2004, which I have a reasonable chance of fitting into my schedule. However, the NCAA seems to have forgotten that I bought tickets in 2001 (and in 1997, but that's not relevant any more). Any idea how to clue the NCAA in to my lottery status?
Ditto for me. I had tickets for Anaheim '99, but with the move back to upstate NY, I have never received any priority ticket application from the NCAA.
I imagine that if you send e-mail to feedback@ncaachampionships.com, the very least that will happen is that they can tell you who the proper person is to contact regarding your priority status. At least I hope they can.

Send an e-mail detailing all of your addres changes since you ordered Frozen Four tickets to Paula Wustrack
. My priority applications have been getting lost in one of my four address changes, but hopefully she has arranged to send the 2003 application to my newest address. It took her a couple of weeks to respond to my initial e-mail message. She did tell me that she had records of my 1998 purchase and that her attempts to update my address had been thwarted by one of my annual moves.
FYI the NCAA page now says previous ticket purchasers should expect their ticket order forms around April 24th and the general public forms will not be available until May 1st. All applications are still due May 22nd.
