Why not.

Might as well give it to us in that case. We've probably got enough Canadians on the team to make Lord Stanley happy. :-D
You could have Denver play whoever wins the Calder Cup (AHL) ... I'd pay to see that :)
Old news facetimer.... you should read the NY Times every now and then.

Sorry oldnews, I only use two sources for my news:
www.elynah.com and
www.fark.com
That would be a blowout in favor of the AHL champions and not worth paying to see.
[q] That would be a blowout in favor of the AHL champions and not worth paying to see.[/q]Come on. Why do you have to go and inject reality into this discussion? I bet in the college hockey video game Denver could beat the AHL champ. Of course, we know that Cornell could certainly beat both of 'em, but only on NHL ice.
I have filed a claim to declare the entire Canadian population as retarded. I am fully confident that it will be passed by the proper courts.
Not necessarily. When you think about it, it's a good team vs. talent battle. The AHL teams keep reshifting their lineups (moreso than happens in college) and when there *was* an NHL, they were seeing contant changes in their team. Meanwhile, you've got the national champions who have been playing together for months and who have the momentum of a national championship. Not to mention, there's a better-than-zero chance that you'd see some alums playing against former teammates.
I think it'd be fun. And give us more hockey to watch. :)
I see many other people get their news from Fox or the Drudge report.
Cornell for 2005 - 2006 Stanley Cup Champs!!!
Maybe we can get Barry Melrose to campaign for us :-D
