Title: ECACHL Championship Wear
Post by: CU at Stanford on March 29, 2005, 01:59:10 PM
Got my red (well, it is more maroon, really) ECACHL championship tee-shirt from the league merchandiser yesterday.  Nice T-shirt.  Will go nicely with this new Hawaiian shirt that I got from my brother-in-law and his wife for my birthday (also maroon).

Beating Harvard for the ECACHL tournament championship...that is the memory I will carry (OK, along with the tying and GW goals vs. Ohio State) through the summer months **]

Hey, it is only three months and a week (give and take) before le Tour de France!  ::crazy::

Does the tee-shirt run true to size?  Or would you suggest ordering a size up/down?

Thanks

I bought a LARGE, and it fits me (5'-8") comfortably.  I don't think you need to order up or down.

Yes, the color is what is on the ECACHL website.  More maroon than red, unfortunately.  So, no, it is not true Carnelian red.  I was going more for the graphics than the actual color.  Besides, I think a true red shirt will fade badly after a few washes, whereas a maroon shirt tends to stand up better.

Notice I did not say it was Crimson.  :-D

I can't stand the color (It looks like there is red in the "C") but I love the "Old Time Hockey" below the "Champions"!  Nice touch.

Anyone know if the Campus Store has/will have ECACHL championship gear?  Preferably some better looking stuff than the ECACHL store offers?

Find a tailor shop with a sewing machine with a USB port. If you feed it a bitmap image, it can embroider anything you want on any shirt, any color. Illegal as hell if you a) try to sell and b) get caught. Otherwise, have at it.

In case anyone cares, Old Time Hockey was founded by former RPI hockey players  Eric Magnuson '84 and Adam Oates '86.

That should be A++++++++++++++++++++, if you're trying to imitate an eBay feedback comment. :-P
