Title: So... who gets the tickets?
Post by: DeltaOne81 on March 27, 2005, 07:33:14 PM
I'm not gonna head to Columbus w/o Cornell there. With recent automobile expenses of mine and everything, it'd need to be something special (i.e. Cornell) to get me to lay out the time and the dough.

So, face price was $576 + $6 order fee, right?

Also, who gets it? Minn? No way. DU? Won last year.

I'm tempted to look for CC fans, they haven't won since 1957, while UND won a few years ago. So that seems to make the most sense to me. With perhaps UND as a backup. Any comments? Who deserves our tickets?

Unless of course some Cornell fan wants them :)

Why do you care?  Sell them for the highest price, and save the money for next year.  I personally couldn't care less who wins this year, and won't be watching.

I'm selling them for face price. I'm not losing my precious priority of 1 ;) by selling them above. But you're right, screw 'em all, it probably doesn't matter, huh.

I've posted this in a bunch of different places...CC or Denver with the tie breaker going to CC because Denver won last year.  Either that or just make them beg.

Definitely CC.  They're a DIII school playing up in hockey and have a pretty decent emphasis on academics from what I've heard. Plus the long drought.  My opinion anyway.

The only problem with supporting CC is that if they win, then we'll be the team with the longest NCAA championship drought.  On the other hand, Denver had the second longest drought up until last year...with a CC win, maybe fate will smile on us? ;-)

Yep.  Clear away CC so the Hockey Gods can see Cornell more clearly.

(It blows me away that Michigan Flippin' Tech has won more recently than the Big Red.)

Does anyone know if CC has a forum? I posted on the UND one.

[Q]The complex also includes an ice hall with two additional sheets of ice that have been in operation since summer of 1995, giving CC the option of practicing at a smaller NHL-size rink in preparation for any upcoming opponent.[/Q]

Holy crap that place is amazing! :-O   We need to get our priorities straight.
