Howdy. I'm wondering if there's a chance for us Ithaca people to organize a party to view the game on Saturday. Any ideas???

My reccomendation would be the old sports club downtown, its now called uncle joe's i think. Good food big TV's and im shure they will have the game on.
There's Ithaca Sports Club (which may be Uncle Joe's I suppose), Benchwarmer's on the Commons, or I think the Holiday Inn has a decent sized and Cornell-friendly sports bar.
I'll be in Ithaca with at least 3 others... Uncle Joe's works for us- has anyone called to make sure they get the game?
I'm planning on being at Uncle Joe's (ISC) Saturday, hopefully in time to catch end of Maine vs Minn maybe about 4:30? Wearing the Red Cornell old style #15 jersey - any faithful there, come by and say hello -
Go BIG RED !!!::woot::
what and where is uncle joes?

Uncle Joe's is a sports bar located in downtown Ithaca. It was formerly called the Ithaca Sports Club. It is located at 302 W. Green St. Its phone number is 607-273-2663.
Apparently that number is not in service. ::worry::

Okay, well, the other info should be accurate. Sorry, I pulled the number from a Google search.
Going to Uncle Bob's (the old Ithaca Sports Club) has to be a good omen. That's where we went for the regionals in 2003 when we got to the FF. Can't hurt anyway! LGR!
Be advised that many a sports bar may show basketball instead. Such is the case with the Chariot in Collegetown. They said they will be showing the Cornell game, but once basketball is on, they will only show hockey during basketball intermissions. So be sure to check with the place you're going to that they not only receive the game, but will also show it without interruption.
So where is this Ithaca gathering going to be? Did anyone check the boatyard grill?
I'm sure the Boatyard Grill will have the game on. The TV's (4) are all small so you'd have to be right at the bar to see much.
so any more developments? Is Uncle Bob's the word? gimme an email js429
I'll be watching the game in the comfort of my own living room, since I don't want to unnecessarily spread my cold germs to everyone at Uncle Joe's. But I'll still be rooting loudly and making sure they can hear me in Minneapolis. LET'S GO RED!!!
Uncle Joe's was packed and reasonably loud YEAH! Should be packed again on Sunday afternoon - game is 3:30 PM
